I found WeatherBusters here on Angie?s List and read many positive reviews?that?s why I called them. I want to add another positive review.

My central AC died with the first NJ heat wave in the start of June. WeatherBusters diagnosed the problem, and it was a potentially big one. Not only did my compressor have a refrigerant leak somewhere, but the very old components in the attic were looking quite bad. The service manager took photos.

He gave me two options: one being to locate/repair the leak in the compressor and recharge with refrigerant, and the other to replace both the compressor and air handler in the attic. I opted for the latter; after seeing the photos I didn?t want to start chasing more problems in the future.

I had to wait a while because they were very busy, but it was worth it. Two repairmen came out early in the morning and worked the full day. Professionals, good guys, upbeat and thorough; they put down tarp to keep things clean and answered any question, anytime. WeatherBusters uses top-notch components, too?York and Aprilaire. They also insulated parts in the attic that had not been insulated with the old unit, gave me a much better filter system, a new digital thermostat and a replacement intake grill for the ceiling, too.

The new system is much better than what I?d been used to. Quieter, more efficient, and I can get my temps down low?sweet comfort inside even during the intense July 15-20 heat wave with outside temps in the very high 90s and high humidity. Love it.

"Heater was making a knocking sound and of course it was the holiday season. Braido came out right away and found a fan part needed replacement. The parts vendor was closed but they came out the next available day and had everything running smooth."

"I am very happy with Mikes Air Conditioning. Here it is JULY and I while in the middle of doing some renovations to my home, I noticed the AC wasn't working the way it should be. I contacted Mike's (fearing the worst) and they sent out a service technician who was able to repair the system for a reasonable cost and buy me some more time before I have to replace the entire system. I had some minor work completed and the freon topped off and now I'm cool and comfy!  Considering all of the expenses with renovating I was very happy to not have a high repair bill. Mikes was efficient, conscientious and professional and they completed the job on time and for a reasonable cost. I recommend them for AC repair as well as installation of new units. When I'm able to replace my system, I'll be calling Mikes Air Conditioning to do the job. Building relationships and getting repeat business should be the goal of any business. "Timing was of the essence as it was the Martin Luther King holiday coming up and the coldest day of the year so far. Arik came in on Thursday to evaluate the situation and quickly started making phone calls and getting measurements for the replacement unit. The unit was delivered on Saturday and customized ducks were created to fit the new unit. Arik arrive promptly on Sunday morning and in 4 hours he had the unit working. The thermostat was replaced and the units on-off switch needed some electrical work. Arik is very professional and quick to respond to text or phone call. The unit needed some adjustments which were done a week later. All is working fine. I highly recommend Arik as he is efficient and gets the job done."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.
