Roto-Rooter is best known for drain cleaning & sewer cleaning. We fix drain clogs, clogged toilets or sinks, blockage of main sewer lines, slow draining shower and bathtub drains, sewer lines and leaking or burst pipes. We also specialize in water damage restoration & water cleanup services. We can fix and clean up your flooded basement too. Roto-Rooter is a 24-hour plumber near you and provides emergency service.
"The Roto-Rooter plumber was great and explained everything clearly. He fixed the issue and left everything neat and clean. The reason for the 4 star is they were supposed to call 30 mins before arrival. They showed up without calling and I had to rush home from work. The 4 stars is also due to sticker shock (no fault of the plumber). Original quote was $720 for a clogged drain. They knocked it down to $500 with only a 30 day warranty rather than 6 month. He found the clog at 35’ (10’ beyond my 25’ snake) in less than 20 mins. I now know I can get a 125’ power snake with all the different pipe size attachments for $300. I do appreciate the promptness of Roto Rooter, ease of scheduling, and fixing the issue right away, but I will invest in my own 100’ snake before spending $500 for 20 mins of labor (not including their travel). Thanks Roto Rooter for jumping on this and fixing the issue in less than 24 hours after contacting you."

Master Plumber's license # 224991. Bonded and insured. No sub-contractors are used at Mike Ingrilli Plumbing; all employees are full-time and work directly for Mike.
"Don’t ever use this company! First, they overcharge! And, they will not come back and fix something they installed that should be warranted. We used him several times and every time they had to go back and fix what they installed. They wanted to charge us for the work that they Installed incorrectly. We are still dealing with this issue a year later. Obviously, we stopped using Ingrilli and we are with a more professional, reliable, plumbing company. Save yourself the headache and stress because there are plenty of other, qualified plumbing companies out there to use and Mike Ingrilli is not one of them! He is very rude and unprofessional!"

"The remodeler I am working with had recommended Riverside and spoke very highly of their services... so I called for help with my 2 water heaters that were both not working. I am so appreciative of the quick response and the quick fix. I had questions too about how those were configured and everything was explained to me. This was so helpful and I now have a company that I will continue to call for whatever plumbing needs I have in the future. I highly recommend Riverside. Thank you!!!"

You'll know your well pump is broken if you notice dirty or cloudy water, loud noises from the pump, inconsistent water pressure, or air sputtering from your faucets. Unexplained increases in your water bills can also indicate a problem. If you experience any of these signs, it's important to consult a professional promptly to prevent further damage.
With regular maintenance, a well pump lasts between 8 and 15 years. Factors such as the pump's quality, level of usage, water sediment levels, and frequency of servicing affect its lifespan. Hard water with high mineral content causes sediment buildup, leading to premature wear. Regular inspections and timely repairs help extend the life of your pump. If your pump is aging or showing signs of trouble, it may be time to consider a replacement.
It depends on the type of pump. A single line shallow pump can pump water 25 feet deep and then into your home. A 3/4 HP submersible pump can draw water from a depth of up to 250 feet. A deep well jet pump can pump water from up to 400 feet below ground.
While it’s important to check your individual homeowners policy, well pumps in need of replacement due to damage from a storm or fire are usually covered by insurance. The costs associated with well pumps that are in need of replacement after reaching their natural lifespan will likely not be covered by homeowners insurance.
Replacing a well pump takes a professional between half a day to a full day to complete. The exact time depends on factors such as the pump type, well depth, and accessibility. Shallow well pumps are quicker to replace, while deep submersible pumps require more time due to extensive piping and wiring. Scheduling with a qualified contractor ensures the replacement is done safely and minimizes disruption to your water supply.
Prevent well pump failure by scheduling regular maintenance, testing water quality, and addressing issues promptly. Install sediment filters to reduce mineral buildup and ensure proper water flow. Avoid overworking the pump by monitoring water usage, especially during dry periods. Installing a low-water cutoff switch prevents the pump from running when the well is low. Proactive care extends the life of your pump and keeps your water system running smoothly.
