"I recently had the pleasure of working with Elite Comfort Pro, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of service they provided. From the very first phone call, their team was professional, responsive, and genuinely focused on helping me find the best solution for my home. The technician arrived right on time, clearly explained the issue with my system, and walked me through all available options without any pressure. What really stood out was their honesty and transparency—they took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I fully understood the work being done. The repair itself was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail. My system is now running better than it has in years. On top of that, their pricing was fair and clearly outlined upfront—no surprises, no hidden fees. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical expertise with such outstanding customer care. I highly recommend Elite Comfort to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality."

"CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"

"Brian and Anthony were very professional and very quick. They were extremely reasonable with the price of a new HVAC system. It was done in a matter of 2 days from contacting this company. I can heartily recommend Comfort Pro and would use them again for any related issues. Dependable and honest. Service like this is hard to find!"

"Was really surprised he came two or three hours after I called. He said he's been plumbing for 35 years, so he knew exactly what to do. He used quality (and very pricy, I think there is a 100% markup) materials, said this should last about 10 years. The old lasted 30 years. One of my neighbors got this same thing done in plastic, and it too will probably last 10 years. Don't think I came out ahead on that one.
He was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after himself for the most part. He used my basement bathroom when I wasn't looking and did not (or forgot) to flush the toilet. UGH!
Be aware that he does NOT offer the 10% senior discount this website says he does. That discount was a large part of why I called this particular plumber. He says he charges less than some other companies. Labor was approximately $100.00 an hour.  That other companies charge more may or may not be true, from what I know, but I felt I had been bait-and-switched. If this is a consideration for you, you may want some other plumber. And I think Angie's List might want to note this somewhere as well.
I would not hire this plumber again in spite of his positive points because of the above, mainly the huge bill at the end.

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Burns, WY

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
