The installation took one day. The contractors wore booties and put down cloths to keep my carpet clean when moving equipment. The installation went well, and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The only issue I had was that the installation team forgot to install an upgraded piece of duct work. This duct piece only affected the efficiency of the system, not the operation, but it was included in the contract and touted by Unique as a benefit of their installation. After I noticed this and contacted Unique, they apologized and sent someone to install the upgrade within a few days. Overall, I am very satisfied with the system and the installation."

They found that the pipe from the house to the tank was failing due improper installation when the house was built. Alliance arrived at our house before the time frame they gave me. Not only did they put in a new furnace, but the ducting that was in here at the house was, like, 30 years old so they tore it out and re-did it with custom ducting made out of big sheets of metal. They only charged me $3,000 for the furnace. I am glad I did because it has made a huge difference in the air quality here. They came out yesterday. They said they would be back for the winter servicing. I have an oil backup so they were out for a number of hours yesterday. They will service it for the next 10 years and it is under warranty for 10 years too. They are great guys. Frank Ford is the owner of it. He and his guys do excellent work and really care. Their prices are as good as anybody. The price depends on what unit you get so it is hard to say. These guys are terrific. I would say if you needed a new heat pump or furnace they should be number one on your list. </p>"
