They had cloths on my floors, as they were in and out of my crawl space. They even left to get a particular component, specific for my install. No damage to home. There was no laughing or joking around. They were concentrated on install, measuring, calculating out loud between the three of them. No cussing or profanity, either. Julian was professional and explained everything to me, including why manual was left on unit, so when inspector came, it was there, as it couldn't be signed off without it. Thermostat looks great! He also knew a lot about furnaces, which is my next thing. *Beware of companies won't give you prices on ANYTHING and/or charge you estimate to come to your house... Another reason I picked PEAK HOME was their receptionists! Sweetest, most understanding ladies! If you need to install A/C, go with this company - definitely recommend!"

"Comfort by Design did a fantastic job with my water heater from start to finish. When I called, the receptionist was highly knowledgeable about scheduling and pricing, and she was quite willing to let me call other places since I was researching price and availability. I ended up sticking with Comfort by Design largely because the receptionist was not pushy, listened well to me, and had technicians available that day. I like hiring companies with whose employees listen to me and work with me to solve a problem, as opposed to pressuring me to choose them or to buy more than I'm comfortable with. My initial interaction with Comfort by Design met those criteria. A technician arrived within the time-frame I was quoted, and he had the part I thought was broken on my water heater. After diagnosing the issue, though, he discovered that there was at least one other broken/malfunctioning part that needed to be replaced. He showed me the problem and explained the process of replacing it. After discussing my options with the technician, I decided to replace the water heater. At no point did I feel pressured into making that decision. The best surprise of the day was that Comfort by Design was able to replace the water heater immediately. Another technician was available to immediately bring the water heater, and the two techs worked together to install the new one and remove the old one. They also carted the old one away. Before leaving, they patiently answered several other questions I had, and they explained and scheduled the necessary inspection of their installation. They did a great job respecting my property while moving the large water heaters, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Finally, the cost was reasonable and about what I expected to pay. Custom by Design is definitely going to be the first place I call should I have any plumbing or HVAC (they also do HVAC!) needs in the future."

Paul was very responsive and arranged in short notice to have an experienced technician, Jesus, come do the repair, even located replacement parts which based on age was a challenge. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"They arrived on time, and quickly solved and repaired both problems within 30 minutes. As jobs go, this one was very easy, but Justin (I think that was his name) made sure to FIX what was wrong, instead of telling me I had to have a more expensive service. We lucked out on this one, seeing as the house was built in 1984, it could very possibly have been needing a rewiring, or replacing the housing unit for the outside socket that was not working. "The technician showed up on time on the scheduled day. However they had a propane water heater instead of gas with them at the time. Apparently some kind of mixup on the paperwork at the office. The gas version of the same water heater was only available from their warehouse in Pueblo, and would take a minimum of two days to arrive. Due to the mixup, they agreed to do the installation of the water heater after hours at no additional cost to accommodate our schedule, since we were unable to arrange to be home again during the day that week. Installation went smoothly and i have no complaints about the work performed. Have used this company for other smaller plumbing tasks and they are reliable and reasonably priced for plumbing services. would use them again.
