"Sebastian came to my house to provide an estimate for an air quality test. I described the odor I was concerned about. He immediately spent some time determining the source of the odor (most likely a dead rodent in the wall of a storage closet) in my house. He recommended a good exterminator to open walls and remove the offending rodent but also advised how I could do it myself easily (and much cheaper). I always appreciate a contractor interested in solving my problem, especially when he doesn't get any business out of it. Sebastian was extremely knowledgeable and obviously very helpful. "This is a very stressful experience as anyone who has had mold can attest. Mold Inspection Plus was prompt and helpful from the word go. My whole ceiling collapsed in my dining room while I was on vacation because of a bad wax seal on my toilet and the build up of water in the plaster ceiling beneath my drywall ceiling. They came out immediately when I called and had extensive knowledge of what need to be done and how much it would cost me to get the ceiling and walls that need to be removed so they could spray. The went over the whole procedure and how it would go and what each test did and why we were running them. As I said before the whole process is stressful and my first meeting unfortunately for me since I could get off work happened through FaceTime with my girlfriend and the owner of the company James at our house, which made it all the more stressful for me. A day later when I called James in a panic because I felt like I was distracted at work and I didn't understand the process as well as I thought, not to mention I missed some info that was relayed from my girlfriend as they had both been in the house and discussed much more thurough then our brief call, he happily went through the whole process with me again over the phone until I was comfortable and understood everything. The work went quick, they had it all removed in sprayed in less then a day and even came the morning after I fave the verbal go ahead. I was only displace the one evening as it takes 12 hrs for the chemical to work and you are not suppose to be in the house. They even alleviated my fears that the spraying would kill my fish, which it did not. This occurred on a Thursday and they were removing the equipment by Saturday morning. When they removed the equipment they took a second air test to make sure that the levels inside my house matched the outside air levels to confirm the mold was gone. When the results came in that they had halfed the extreme high levels but had not normalized they came back out at no additional cost to spray again. A few days later the came through to take another air test and this time when we sent it off to the lab it came back normal. The whole crew was pleasant and professional and they even were extremely nice when my insurance company ran dragged the whole process on for over a month with payment. I can express enough how glad I am that I chose them, they even through some free plumbing advice for me and answer any of my many plumbing questions as my house and plumbing is extremely old and James was plumber by trade."

"The asbestos testing was quite pricey. $400 for four test samples. Now I cannot say that this was due to the contractor since no other professional ever returned my calls and Atlas was the only price quote. It is possible that they would have been the cheapest, if I had anyone to compare them to. The representative was very friendly and explained everything in detail. Very thorough. I am sure that the lab tests were responsible for most of the cost, but the results were ready the next day."

"I'm not one to write reviews but i had such a wonderful experience i had to share, I called ETS Environmental Testing Services,they came out to test the floor tile for asbestos.They did a wonderful job.They were very knowledgeable, professional and punctual. "Mike Zam and his worker Albert cleaned all my air ducts, registers, and dryer vent. I paid $530 for the first 15 ducts and vents. After that I paid $20 per additional duct and vent. I paid $100 for the dryer vent cleaning for a total of $740. While the work was being completed Mr. Zam made a strong sales pitch for another $1400 to be paid for an Air Scrubbers Plus--a whole house air purifier which is attached to the furnace. He also strongly advised me to pay another $310 to have the coil blades in my furnace cleaned. (I got him down to $270) While he was taking the bottom part of my Lennox furnace apart he received a phone call. He then told me he had to leave and than another service man would call me the next day to do the job. As a result, I had time to call my HVAC service man to discuss these high price additions. He informed me that neither was needed. I checked online regarding the Air Scubbers Plus and found out that the whole- house air purifier's effectiveness greatly diminishes the farther away a room is from the unit. After the men (about 2 1/2 hrs or so) I discovered a lower register hanging off the wall in my living room. In my bedroom the upper and lower registers were reinstalled backwards, making it impossible to slide the lever controlling the louvers. To move the lever necessitated a hammer and a screwdriver. My recommendation to anyone considering air duct cleaning is to watch the process closely. I did not with Eco Friendly Services. And I regret it."
