"Eric was an absolute pleasure to work with. He impressed me with his courtesy, expertise and professionalism. He emailed me with a detailed list of the items that he was going to inspect and maintain in my heat pump and attic unit. He also called to let me know that he was going to be a little late. He educated me about how a heat pump works. He took pictures of everything he did and showed me the various components of the system. He pointed to some mold accumulating in the attic unit which he sprayed in order to kill. He suggested that I have an ultraviolet light installed to kill any mold spores, which I agreed to (he also showed me a picture of a customer's installation of one). He pointed out some dust in the attic unit and suggested I have a filter installed which would stop any dust and allergens reaching the ducts, to which I also agreed. This removes the need to have any ceiling filters. The annual maintenance contract I signed saves on labor and parts costs. "

"Gunai is the worst customer rep I have ever encountered. Got the appointment via the warranty company. Absolutely worst customer service possible. My appointment was for a water heater made two days in advance and in the middle of an extremely cold week. Right in the middle of my appointment slot, I get a call from the company that I have an appointment for the following Monday, with no reference to the fact that I was supposed to have a technician at my place at that particular moment. When questioned regarding the existing appointment, the customer service representative Gunai said **Well things happen**. No apology whatsoever. And when I insisted that I need her name and my new appointment slot for the following Monday she BANGED THE PHONE ON ME and said ** you can call the warranty company**. After multiple calls back to the office based on the call-in number I was able to get her name, the owners contact, and my appointment confirmation for Monday. I am yet to contact the owners as they are out!! I will update accordingly"

"I requested a Pro through the Angi app to install a new garbage disposal in my kitchen. In my request, I clearly stated that I did not already have a disposal purchased and that I needed the Pro to provide the unit and complete the installation. I was matched with Jason from Hope Services LLC. We communicated through the app, and Jason sent me a contract (attached). Before agreeing, I confirmed with him that the quoted amount included the cost of the new garbage disposal, labor, and all related expenses. He confirmed that it did. Jason arrived on 12/29 without the garbage disposal he had agreed to provide. He inspected the existing unit even though I had already sent photos through the app and when he turned it on, it began leaking. I explained that the unit had been leaking for several weeks and that this was the reason I requested a full replacement. Jason then left to purchase the new disposal from Lowe s. While at the store, he called to tell me he would need to charge an additional $100 or more to complete the installation. When I asked why given that his original quote explicitly included the disposal and all costs he could not provide a clear explanation. He later admitted he may not have read the messages as well as he needed to and acknowledged that the misunderstanding was his fault, yet still insisted on increasing the price. Because the new price was higher than what he quoted and what I agreed to in writing, I told him I no longer wished to proceed. Jason then informed me that I still owed him a service fee, despite no work being performed and despite our agreement being for a replacement job, not a service call. He insisted I had no choice but to pay. While he was on his way back to my home, I contacted Angi customer service. I was advised that I had no obligation to pay, since he changed the terms of the contract after I accepted it. When Jason returned, he again demanded payment. Under pressure, I paid him via credit card. I am requesting that Angi review this situation, as the Pro changed the agreed-upon terms, failed to provide the service as contracted, and demanded payment for work that was not performed. I am seeking a refund of the amount paid."
