"Excellent communication. Arrived on time. He would not wire the water heater, so we did the wiring to the breaker box ourselves. He did a great job with the install to the tub. He also fixed a leak he discovered for another $150+. The entire project was very expensive, but I got two estimates and they were the same - but the other estimate included the wiring."

"Replaced a well pump, pressure tank and switch. John Dexter was prompt in response and the installation was completed within a couple of days. The young man that completed the installation was very polite and did a great job. Had an issue with a slight leak on one of the tank fittings which did take two return trips to solve the issue which was nothing more than a lack of silicone grease on the o-rings. Two days later we detected a very bad taste in the water. Called Dexter to tell of the issue. John did not seem to concerned and ask me to email him what I was experiencing so he could forward to his water people. The taste and smell were very bad and the water could not be drank. Dexter's shop is literally a mile from my house. I think it would have been prudent for him to swing by and see the issue for himself. I decided after a few days of not hearing from Dexter, to contact someone else to solve the issue. While Dexter Well and Plumbing is fast to respond to the initial problem, they seem less concerned if there are issues after the fact."

The price was a little higher than I wanted to pay but they were very good and kept me posted as they were working."

"The main issue I had was I was told over the phone that installation for a 30 gallon tank water heater would be around $625 and a 50-gallon would be around $685. However when they were finished installing the heater and I asked for the final price to write my check, he said he never a 50-gallon for less than $875. Unfortunately I did not have written documentation of the price he told me before and the heater was already installed. He also said he would take care of getting rid of the old water heater which apparently meant leaving it at my curb for me to pay to remove. Lastly, when I asked, he couldn't really give me an information on the new device, how to take care of it or check it. Mainly just wanted to install it (dropped it while carrying it in as well) and run. In the end, I learned a few lessons I suppose. Other than the above, the work was efficient, they were able to fit me in soon after I scheduled my install and were decent on the phone. I wouldn't go back for another install because of the issues I mentioned above."
