"Nick was friendly and professional. He took time to go over the repairs and install I requested and made recommendations to me. The pricing is straight forward, no guessing. I will call and request Nick for any future plumbing projects. He made this while experience stress free."

"Plumber was very punctual and courteous. The work was done reasonably quickly and solidly. My biggest concern is that the price seemed awfully high. $550 ($525 after coupon) to replace the faucet seems high given the time and effort involved. Now, I'm no expert, so maybe that's normal. That price does include the fixture, and it seemed sturdy, but still. I shudder to think what they must charge for something more involved. Another minor cause for concern is that I asked him to check a toilet with a fill valve that had started acting up, and his reply was to recommend replacing that it might be time to replace the whole toilet. Again-- not an expert, but that seems VERY extreme when the rest of the toilet seems to be fine (seals, etc). In the future, I'll get a second opinion before getting any work done by these folks. The work seems good, but the price and advice: not so much.

"Hedlund did a great job of replacing our old, worn-out kitchen faucet with one I bought from Amazon. Brian was thorough and got the job done in less than 30 minutes, with not a speck of mess left behind.  The job took far less time than if I had done it and was done much faster than I expected. There was some confusion about the cost and Tom Hedlund graciously handled the matter to my complete satisfaction. Their professionalism is absolutely top-rate in every way.

"I called them and spoke to chris who sent out a service tech within 45 minutes.  The tech was clean, efficient and professional.  he was able to complete the job with minimal disruption to the sink and cleaned up thouroughly after he was done,  in all, a great experience and well worth the cost since no cuts had to be made to my walls.  I will definately use them again in the future for any clog that is beyond a regular plumbing company.

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Cohoctah, MI

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
