"Our technician was here within an hour , repaired the pipe that was leaking and even found a second leak by the water heater that I would have never found until a major leak happened. He was very professional and easy to talk with ."

"Sam arrived on time and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and also made good recommendations. After finishing the tune up, I shared with him that I can smell gas in the laundry room or outside the house from time to time for the last year. He immediately checked the connections of the pipe for the dryer and found one wasn’t sealed and there was a gas leak. The previous owner had this house for 5 years and probably they experienced the same issue. Sam fixed the issue . I do not have any gas smell anymore and most of our coughing and difficulty breathing has ceased. I really appreciate the knowledge and the help from Four Season."

"<p>Bath tub drain was leaking into the my basement.  I called to schedule an appointment, and they came out that day!!</p> <p>Matt and Brian were the plumbers.  They were amazing.  </p> <p>These poor guys went through all my emotions in the time they were there.  I went from crying to being slap-happy joking about the whole ordeal.  They dealt with it very well, just doing their job while I was upset and laughing with us when we were joking around later.  </p> <p>We were doing other work at the house and they offered us tools that I was looking for to finish something.  I didn't need it.  I ended up finding what I needed, but the offer was nice, and it makes all the difference when you have friendly people at your house for hours.  </p> <p>I am not really sure what they had to go through to get the tub fixed the way they did, but it was A LOT.  They had to make a trip back to the "base" for more parts because my tub is so old.   </p> <p>Price was what I expected, probably even less than I expected as they were there for so long.  </p> <p>Matt was kinda quiet; Brian was awesome!  Both were very professional.  Great personalities dealing with an emotional girl.  Really makes a difference to some people to have such awesome personalities.  I am one of those people.  Thanks guys!  Everything still seems to be working the way it should.  I would definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.  </p> <p>I also used this company for a new toilet install in my other house.  They were great then too.  Sorry, it was a while ago and don't remember the name of the guy that came out, but he was also very personable.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I initially thought I needed all my water pipes replaced but Mark and Clint both assured me that my problems didn’t sounds that severe. The plumber Joe was polite and professional and stayed until the job was done even though it took twice as long as expected due to the stubborn conditions. He even looked over all the main water lines and pointed out a few other things that would eventually need replaced to help me prioritize for future projects."

"The service call was great and the company was very responsive throughout. I even gave them the lockbox code so they could go in when I was at work. Basically my stove installer did not remove a plug that was blocking the gas. The person came in and fixed it in less than 15 minutes, but charged me for the full hour. When I asked why, he said "I have been up since 7". (this was around 730). I felt that I overpaid, but my problem was solved. I do not think this was fair though, and will not use this company in the future. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Crown Point, IN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
