"I called to get an inspection done on my AC unit and was quoted $90 for the inspection plus $120 an hr for ADDITIONAL hrs. I ASKED when do I know when the “additional hrs start”, He stated that the tech would let me know once the inspection was done and then at that time he would let me know if there was work that needed to be fixed or if there was nothing then the service would end and I would only have to pay the $90. They charged me $210 for the inspection. I called and requested that we both listen to the call (Because all calls are recorded) They played the call, heard what the rep said and then stated they would get back to me. When I finally reached them again (they never called me back), they stated I would not get a refund, then replayed the call cutting out the part when the rep stated clearly that the service was only $90. They not only GASLIGHTED me, but they altered the recording. $120 may not matter to most but it sure matters to me."

That's how many days it's been since the AC stopped working. Ten. That's how many days it's been since an F.H. Furr technician inspected the system and said he needed to order some parts to fix it. Six. That's how many times I've called F.H. Furr's office and been assured that someone will call me back to discuss my situation and a timetable for fixing the AC. No one has called me back. Fifteen. That's how many days it is until August 1, which, according to a customer-service rep, is listed in my file as the ETA for those parts. (But, of course, I haven't been able to speak to anyone in a position to explain why it's taking four weeks to get parts.) Eighty-six. That's how many degrees it is in my house each afternoon."

The technician showed up at 4pm without the materials he needed. He promptly left having done nothing, said he would get what he needed and return. We heard nothing."

I worked with Tammy at AES to schedule the inspection, follow-up, etc. - a fantastic employee. Courteous, professional, and really knows her stuff when it comes to HVAC. Unfortunately, I live in a condo with a tricky indoor/outdoor HVAC set-up that ended up requiring a fairly specific indoor unit that AES did not offer, so I had to go with another company.
