"This review is solely about the installation portion of the Puronics Water Treatment System since it was just installed today. The install team arrived on time, ready to go to work. The location of my main water line was tricky to get to, but they found a great solution to tap into the line via a drop-ceiling access point. They located the Hydronex Water Conditioning Cylinder and Salt Backflush Container exactly where I wanted it. Their work was clean, tight, and very professional. The RO system was backordered, so they explained that they will return within the week to install that portion of the project. They prepped for the RO install by drilling and installing the faucet in my granite countertop. After the install, they explained the whole system to my wife and I and we were up and running with conditioned water. I can't say enough about my experience with Chuck on the initial phone call, Miles who provided the water testing and sold me the system, and Ryan who installed the system. So far, I can't envision any issues that might arise with Orbit Water Solutions since they have provided outstanding service to this point!"

"My sump pump went out. I had a membership with a home warranty company. They assigned Jerry's Plumbing. The response time was exceptional, and it was actually Jerry who responded. I found him extremely personable and friendly. You gotta like a person who has a big smile on his face. Jerry examined the sump pump. I believe it was the motor that went out. It was probably around 15 years old at the time. So, he pulled the old pump. So, he went to his truck and brought in a new pump. He explained to me that my home warranty would pay for a low-grade pump. I understood. I understood my home warranty contract. He then told him he was going to install a higher grade pump. So, I'm wondering how much that would cost me above my $100 deductible. I'll never forget his response. I can't remember it verbatim, but he essentially said, "don't worry about it. This is the sump pump you need for this house." Trust me... I was Wowed! Jerry didn't need to do that for me! But, he did. And, I'll never forget that. He immediately established know, like and trust with me. My wife and I have used Jerrys Plumbing ever since. They replaced my garbage disposal, broken internal water pipes in our home, a frost free outside hose bib, and most recently installed a water powered back up sump pump. That water powered back up sump pump really provides my family piece of mind. I've had way too much water in my finished basement because my electricity went out and my electric sump pump obviously didn't work! I don't need to shop around for a less expensive plumber that I don't know. I feel safe and secure with Jerry's Plumbing. He's my plumber for life! If I have any advice to offer it's this. "We had a pipe burst early in the evening during one of the severe cold snap and called several plumbers.  We were told it would take anywhere from 1 to 4 days before anyone could get to us.  Constantly Running said it would probably be the next morning, but if they could get here sooner they would.  45 minutes later, one of their plumbers called.  He came out and promptly did the work.  The next week, their dry wall person came out and repaired the ceiling.  They were very prompt, professional, and courteous.  I felt they were very reasonably priced, as well.

"Kitchen faucet - After Jason had completed installing the faucet, I asked him to make sure the hoses were on tight; so, Jason double-checked.  I noticed that the faucet installation on top of sink was loose; Jason told me it was because the faucet was a one-pipe installation.
Electric hot water heater & thermal expansion tank installation - This equipment was properly installed by Jason; however, after Mr. Reckert (licensed master plumber) and Jason (apprentice) left, I noticed that there was a good-size dent on the left side area of the water heater, which wasn't there when water heater was removed from the box.  The dent could not be seen from the front of the water heater.  So, I felt around the tank and found this dent, and I used a mirror so I could see it.  I'm disappointed that Jason didn't tell me about this dent.  When I contacted Mr. Reckert on 8/10/2013 to inform him, he said he didn't know about the dent.  My other reason for phoning him on 8/10/2013 was to ask when the WSSC inspection would be done; this week, Mr. Reckert arranged the inspection for 8/14/2013.  I don't think WSSC inspections are currently required on electric hot water heaters, but I wanted an inspection because of the damaged tank and the loose faucet, and because I had never had a thermal expansion tank until now.
Everything relating to the water heater passed the WSSC inspection; the inspector believed that the damage to water heater was cosmetic and that the damage did not extend to the interior of the heater.
Kitchen faucet failed the WSSC inspection because the faucet was loose and "needs to be tightened," which was quite different than Jason's explanation.  After the inspector left, I got under the kitchen sink and saw that the three screws attaching the faucet had not been tightened.  Two of those screws had not been tightened at all; the other screw was tightened just enough to hold faucet somewhat in place.  So, I got my screw driver and tightened all three screws; the faucet is now secure.  Mr. Reckert said that he didn't know that the faucet was loose.
Jason (apprentice) did ALL of the work;  however,  he needed more supervision.  After all, Mr. Reckert said that he did not know that the faucet was loose and that he didn't know that the water heater was damaged.      
Mr Reckert acknowledged that Germantown Plumbing has only two:  Mr. Reckert and Jason.  I will say that if you phone this company, Mr. Reckert will answer the phone himself--he uses "call forwarding."

"This is really a great company. Super-responsive, fair prices, and, most importantly, quality work done by knowledgable and hard-working folks. I initially called about a leaky kitchen faucet and the owner contacted me right away and was at my house within the hour. He diagnosed my problem immediately, recommended a solution, gave me a reasonable estimate, and said it would be taken care of that day. I was so impressed that I decided to ask for a quote on replacing an aging sump pump and water heater. I wound up having those replaced as well. They also installed a frost-free spigot in front of the house when I mentioned the issues I was having with the ancient "vacuum breaker" that sprayed water everywhere and that I simply could not remove myself. Now flash-forward to 2 weeks later: I detected a water-stain on my living room ceiling which I deduced was probably coming from an upstairs toilet. I called after hours and left a message describing the problem. The owner called me early the next morning and sent sent somebody out immediately. The issue was determined to be a deteriorated "wax ring". Rather than doing a repair, I decided-- at no urging from them-- to have both of the 30-year old toilets in my house replaced with new units. The job was done quickly and professionally in just a couple of hours. Few things are as stressful to homeowners as plumbing and water-related issues. However, it is a relief to know that there are competent, responsive professionals out there like Kelly that you can turn to when the need arises."

"Jesse and his crew came through with the best price, not to mention courteous, professional service and quality work. Our water main line was leaking and was getting worse. We could see water collecting on the driveway, water meter was spinning, and our water bill was going up by the hour.
