"The installers were great guys to work with. The were new at installations, except for the trainer, but he was from another state and reported the water was clear the day of the installation and it wasn't. We contacted Homeleaf and they sent out an installer ASAP who flushed the system and not it's clear. He told us the trainer was being dealt with by the office. I would not hold this back from recommending them to other potential customers. They are a nationwide firm. One thing we learned after the installation was that the warranty is not transferrable and some of the maintenance items that are free for us will not be free to the new home owners. We should have asked more about this during the sales appointment, and the representative should have reviewed the warranty with us."

"I called many plumbers, and to be honest they did not seem to be professional. Some spoke so fast and furious that I could not understand them--or did I want to deal with that initial problem. "The work is alright, but I don’t know about the quality product.Ever since we’ve had it, the water quality doesn’t seem right. The water stings our eyes, it smells, and laundry won’t lather up. It doesn’t seem to work like it supposed to. We have been using their services for 5-7 years. They installed the system initially. They have been really good about servicing our home, but I don’t know. The company is very responsive and does what we ask. They are a little expensive. My only complaint is that they do not notify you when it is time to do the annual checkup so it expires and then we have to pay extra. This has happened almost every year. This year, I asked them to notify us beforehand and they did this year."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
