"I noticed that the plumbing in one of my bathrooms was backing up and called Glenn Tatum. They came the next day checked my plumbing, tried to unblock the piping and determined that my septic tank was not working. They charged $80.00 for that service call including Angie's List discount, which I found quite reasonable. They called in their septic service division which came to my home the same afternoon and found that my sum pump was  finished. They installed a new pump, new wiring, replaced the alarm float, and pumped the tank all in about one hour. By the end of the day both my plumbing and septic were working just fine. These guys were not cheap, but they were very efficient and I highly recommend them.

"I called LandTek and left a message needing 3 huge oak trees removed that were leaning towards my home due to Hurrican Mathew and also needed major yard cleanup! I received a call back from Andrew within 30 minutes. He was able to give me a rough estimate via text after I sent him a few pictures and video. He said he could be here 8AM the following day. The next morning Andrew was very punctual and arrived with his crew (3 additional men) at 7:53AM. He was able to put my mind to ease with his professionalism and knowledge! By the time they were done you couldn't even tell we just had a major hurricane. Like every other house on our street! They took everything with them! I also scheduled Andrew to come back and change the timer on my irrigation system. I look forward to using LandTek again for all my lawn, tree, and irrigation needs! Thanks for the great service! P.S. They were $400 cheaper than my 1st estimate with another company and that didn't include the yard cleanup!"

"I have had a great experience dealing with Will. I acquired a property that was severely overgrown and uneven. Will was referred though a friend and he quickly showed up to provide me with a quote. He immediately started work removing some compromised trees and mulching the area. His equipment is all top of the line and he worked efficiently. He brought in fill and raised up some of the low areas, making the yard even and symmetrical. He had some great ideas for landscaping and also installed some healthy trees to provide depth to the yard. It was a total transformation. Will is very easy to work with and brings his extensive landscape knowledge and great attitude with him everyday. He is now doing the ongoing landscape maintenance and we are very pleased with this as well. I would highly recommend him. Thanks Will."

FAQs for water or fuel tank remove projects in De Leon Springs, FL

There are several reasons why you might need to remove an oil tank. In some areas, local regulations require tanks to be removed after a certain period. Leaking tanks can pose hazards to drinking water and the environment. Plus, many municipalities won't allow property sales until an inspection confirms the oil tank is safe.

One option for disposing of an oil tank is to have your removal pro take it to a dismantling yard or salvage yard for recycling. If a salvage yard isn’t an option, you can contact a local landfill or a local oil tank removal service for help finding a proper disposal location for your tank. Typically, you’ll need to show there’s no sludge or residue in the tank.

A leaking oil tank reveals itself through increased energy bills and a noticeable oily sheen on water surfaces, which signals a malfunction. You may also experience strong oil odors and observe stained grass and deteriorating vegetation near your property. These clear warning signs demand immediate professional evaluation to protect the environment and secure your property’s safety.

Yes, states mandate soil testing during oil tank removal to detect hazardous pollutants that harm the environment. This testing confirms that no soil contamination exists. Certified specialists collect soil samples to meet regulatory requirements and ensure property safety. Conducting these tests protects water quality and the structure’s integrity while immediately triggering any necessary remediation measures.
