Small jobs welcome

"Ron arrived on time and removed the propane tank on my balcony. I was very grateful for the service because the tank was in a grill and the company taking the grill would not take the propane tank. Ron was very personable and efficient. It was great to see the propane tank go."

"Vestige was fantastic. We discovered we had an oil tank on our property after having a new gas furnace installed and the old lines caused a leak into the basement of my home. We where not informed of an oil tank when purchasing our property in 2008.The leak caused my home to smell like a mechanics garage to put it mildly. Alex was fantastic, he assessed the issue, answered all my questions. Drained and removed the tank and sealed the lines coming in my home. I would highly recommend this company."

"We happened to discover a small leak on our water main pipe and called Vlad out. He came out the next day and gave us a quote and didn't happen to have the parts on hand (we have an OLD house), but said he'd get back to us as soon as he could, even though he was fully booked for the week. He came back the next day and worked through lunch (thank you Vlad!) to get it done. And thank goodness -- the pipe actually split apart in his hands. If we'd left it much longer it might have blown and flooded our basement!!!"

"We had a collapsed sewer pipe, with a flooded basement and busted water heater! Another plumber came out and gave an estimate on a sewer lining, another company gouged us on cleaning out the sludge from the basement! We called around for a second opinion and got ahold of Curtis, who it turned out I had already spoken to multiple times while trying to get the first plumber out to us. He recommended a full replacement of our sewer line and it was cheaper than the lining and his reasons were sound. Next day we finally were able to run water down our drains (never underestimate your toilet!), next day our yard was filled like it never happened (besides having no grass), next day we got our new water heater (with 10% discount) and I'm getting ready for a hot shower. Thank you so much Curtis and team at AA Plumbing LLC, after this crazy ordeal you were the most empathetic, honest, and all around best people that we dealt with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

FAQs for water or fuel tank remove projects in Seattle, WA

There are several reasons why you might need to remove an oil tank. In some areas, local regulations require tanks to be removed after a certain period. Leaking tanks can pose hazards to drinking water and the environment. Plus, many municipalities won't allow property sales until an inspection confirms the oil tank is safe.

One option for disposing of an oil tank is to have your removal pro take it to a dismantling yard or salvage yard for recycling. If a salvage yard isn’t an option, you can contact a local landfill or a local oil tank removal service for help finding a proper disposal location for your tank. Typically, you’ll need to show there’s no sludge or residue in the tank.

A leaking oil tank reveals itself through increased energy bills and a noticeable oily sheen on water surfaces, which signals a malfunction. You may also experience strong oil odors and observe stained grass and deteriorating vegetation near your property. These clear warning signs demand immediate professional evaluation to protect the environment and secure your property’s safety.

Yes, states mandate soil testing during oil tank removal to detect hazardous pollutants that harm the environment. This testing confirms that no soil contamination exists. Certified specialists collect soil samples to meet regulatory requirements and ensure property safety. Conducting these tests protects water quality and the structure’s integrity while immediately triggering any necessary remediation measures.
