"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

I seldom have plumbers in so I can't say the cost was high, although I was surprised it was $400, but that could be the going rate. He seemed very agreeable and very happy. "Well temperatures outside were hitting the high 90's for several consecutive days so we were desperate. Unfortunately, every HVAC provider that we called were booked solid for the next week. I was in a hair salon and after being there about an hour I noticed a man in uniform come in the salon the name on his shirt said All City HVAC. Mr Smith retired 6:30am the next morning and worked with his assistant for hours in the attic where temperatures were over 100 degrees. By mid afternoon they were cleaning up and my house was feeling like we were in Alaska! Great experience. I would and have recommended Allcity HVAC services"

"The Technician was very professional,competent and responsive.
The company shows business hours 24/7. However, the customer support of the company after regular business hours is managed by a third party "answering service" who then relays customers' requests/ orders to the company's point of contact. I found it a little cumbersome to coordinate call through the third party answering service and there was an unnecessary lapse of conveying my request on time. However, for the most part, my experience with the company's direct customer support was without follies.
Being a small to medium size business, I wouldn't hold any experience as negative against the company. However, it will be better if they could manage their own calls answering service so that the orders can be processed within a reasonable timeline, specially for emergency services (e.g., no heating during freezing winter).
On my request, the technician gave me an informal pricing estimate for the replacement of the system which I needed.
At this time, they are within my top two prospective contractors for the final project of replacing the HVAC system.
I would strongly recommend them to other consumers looking for reliable, competitively priced, skilled professional company when considering heating/ cooling work.
