"He was prompt. He didn't really do anything. He put the air conditioner on. It did turn on and it was blowing cold air. He did go up into the attic and inspected. It was just a visual inspection. It wasn't anything like he checked the valves or any of that. It was like a 1, 2, 3 kind of thing. He did what he had to do. He was there within 15 minutes after my mom called him. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. Nothing was changed. No filters were changed. It was just to see that it was working. It was an older unit and it had never really got that cold. So I wanted somebody to take a look at it. Take a look at what's working and what might not be working and then make a recommendation for repair or replacement. As far as measuring or testing the actual temperature and looking at the level of Freon that was in the system, I don't think he did that."

"Except for fact that outside dryer vent cover was damaged (it was 32 years old and starting to crumble), actually cleaning of duct was fine. One caveat, if you need to replace your outside dryer vent cover, DO NOT pay the $60. for company to supply and install new cover. You can get it from Walmart or AMAZON for a fraction of the price ($5.19)!"

They keep their appointments, they stand by their work, they return calls in a timely manner and their workmanship was flawless. They removed the air handler from the attic and installed the new one covering the floor and carpet so as not to get anything dirty. When they finished you didn’t even know they were here except for the temperature change. I would without hesitation recommend ECM for any HVAC work you need done."
