"SCAM-SCAM-SCAM ELITE ROOTER came to the house with a $79.99 special to clear a clogged pipe using a snake. The $79.99 first it became over $500 to do jetting which I agree to do. However, shortly after that they told me that it will be over $3,000 to replace 10 feet of pipe that had a bad section. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER. They charged the credit card in advanced, didn't complete the jot and is not refunding the money! VOID AT ALL COST. I had to get another plumber to complete the job because the $3,000 to replace $10 feet of pipe in an open basement seem outrageous. The other plumber clear the clogged pipe with a snake and said that the pipe didn't need to be replaced. SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEVE AND USE ANOTHER PLUMBER. I have now a double bill because they are not refunding me for the uncompleted job."

"I worked with Chizum and had a great experience. For my work, he requested a few photographs instead of sending someone out to have a look. He wanted to be sure that the bluish pipe entering the house was not the type that should be replaced before the work was done (it wasn't). He explained that they would not guarantee their work if it was and that they do not do the replacement work anymore. He was very thorough and knowledgeable - super helpful! Chizum estimated the work would take one hour (which it did exactly) and that if the pipe turned out to be the wrong kind he would not charge "a huge amount" for the service call. "I called A1 when the company that normally services our HVAC system couldn’t get to our home for several days. A1 told me they could have a technician at our home later the same day. Not only did they get a tech to our home that day, he was there 2 hours prior to the estimated time frame. I cannot praise Gered Stovall, the tech that worked on our unit, enough. He quickly diagnosed that the unit was low on refrigerant and replaced it to get the a/c working, but he then worked to find out why the unit was low on refrigerant and while it was a fairly costly repair that couldn’t be completed the same day, Gered and the staff at A1 worked diligently to come up with an economical and viable solution. Gered was, professional, communicative, prompt and incredibly knowledgeable when it came to servicing our a/c and I would recommend him and A1 to anyone!"
