"I needed a sump pump repair and received two quotes. Bulletproof Plumbing and Heating was cheaper by a couple of hundred dollars. They successfully performed the work as promised and I was impressed with the quality and customer service experience that I had Todd (the owner) quote another project to install new plumbing on a basement kitchenette we were installing. Again his quote was significantly lower than another quote I received and the end result was another quality project completed by his team. Since then I have used Todd and his team for a couple of other plumbing issues. He is very responsive to my texts/calls and it is comforting to know that he will always send the same plumber (Jesse) to address our issues. It is also nice to know that I can always count on Todd 24/7 to respond back to me and treat me as though I was his most important customer. His company is definitely is worth hiring to address your plumbing needs!!!"

"I had an existing sump pump well but needed a sump pump installed with pvc piping routed to the outside. I also learned that I didn't have a GFI electrical outlet in my unfinished basement so I needed electrical routed from my box through the wall into the basement. <br /> <br /> Smith Plumbing and Heating bent over backwards to help me. I was closing on my house sale and needed the work done in 2 weeks due to the inspection report and also needed temp financing until the end of the month. I had gotten several estimates and they were 3x what this company ended up charging me. The plumber and electrician were on time, did great work and were very professional. The receptionist at Smith Plumbing and Heating was wonder - a step above in customer service. I really appreciate all the did for me in a time where I was feeling very stressed about my home closing and under a tight deadline. I will definitely use them again."

"Rick (owner) kept appointment for estimate and accurately estimated the job. Worked with me on the schedule to provide repair when convenient for me. Gary (plumber doing the job) showed up 10 minutes early, had all the necessary parts and equipment, and completed the work in a professional manner. Several pipes connected to the area requiring repair began leaking as a result of the work done, and Gary quickly repaired these pipes/leaks as well. This additional work took 45 minutes, and I was happy to pay for the additional time required to make sure all leaks were addressed. Gary cleaned up the work site and was courteous throughout the process of repair and cleanup. I will use Johnson Heating & Plumbing for future plumbing work. <br />"

"I had waited 30 years to get air conditioning and it was my neighbor that recommended CalibratingAir. I was impressed with the company right from the start, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. They sent out Ryan and Darryl to do the job. The guys were prompt and and covered my carpet to keep things clean. The job was done well and passed inspection with flying colors! Their front office even called to make sure I was satisfied with their work. Ryan and Darryl thank you for doing such an awesome job and I’m really enjoying my cool house!!"

"Lucas fixed a plumbing leak in my kitchen. He was kind, friendly, efficient, helpful and even great with my 6 year old son. He explained everything he did, educated us on how to avoid any possibly backups in the future. He was very competitive with his pricing too. We called him back to install some upgraded faucets. He got us in promptly and fast. His services are very affordable and he runs his business like a true professional with integrity and dependability. I will refer everyone I know to Lujan PSI because of the exceptional service he provided to my family."

"The technician who performed the service, Joshua, did a very good job. My complaint is that prior to another technician even leaving the shop, I called and reminded customer service that my furnace is in the attic so the proper ladder would be on the truck. The first technician that arrived, later than stated, informed me he was on limited duty and could not go into the attic. He called his dispatcher and left. Eventually Joshua arrived after I had to reorganized all of my morning appointments while waiting for someone to show up who could do the job. I am irritated that no one reached out to me and offered an apology for the confusion or to keep me informed as to when the second tech would be arriving, I am very disappointed that the company did not cared about their screw up. I am very disappointed! Customer Service and Dispatch failed to communicate in sending out a technician."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Elbert, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
