"Hal's work is top-notch but I grew increasingly frustrated with the timing and inconsistency of his work habits. His was one of several estimates I received and basically he said he would beat any estimate I received. The difference is that everyone else was going to use cedar and he only works with pressure-treated Southern yellow pine, which is less than half the cost of cedar. I was unsure of the durability and longevity of that product so I did extensive research online. Still unsure, I drive around the Twin Cities to see other jobs Hal did that gave stood the test of time and I decided to move forward. Clearly, the way he builds his fences require considerably more manual labor than those built with cedar posts and pickets so essentially instead of paying for the higher cost of cedar, you pay for increased labor costs. Unfortunately, Hal isn't as going as predicting when he will get jobs complete as he is completing them well. He was over a month late in getting started and I repeatedly had to call him to inquire about the delay. It was quite frustrating but since I didn't absolutely need the fence done by a certain date, I decided to practice patience. Once he finally started, most days he and his helper only worked 4 hours so the project dragged on far longer than I thought it would. Admittedly, there were a couple of weather-related days but other times when it was a perfect day, they wouldn't show up and I would give no idea when they were coming again. After I told him I really needed to have him be more communicative, he was and within a short time after that conversation, he completed the fence. The fence is beautiful and appears very sturdy. We'll see how it withstands time and weather but for now I am very happy with it. Hal does beautiful work but if you are on a strict timeline I would not recommend working with him. If you are flexible and don't mind putting more effort into communication, he is a great person to work with.

"I think the finishing around the window could've been a little bit nicer. Our basement isn't really finished. It still the brick wall, cement wall.It just seems like it could've been finished off more than it was. They were quick. I didn't see a lot of debris or anything. I know sawing through cement can be messy but they seemed to be very clean and efficient. They were out here pretty quick. We checked around and they were very reasonable."

"We decided to finally update the main bathroom in our home and wanted to have it done for our sons graduation party. We meet with Bob and told him what we had in mind, he worked with his team and sub-contractors, and  came through on everything  and then some. Bob was able to get the job done on time and budget.  The crew  used drop  clothes and pick up after themselves daily,if it wasn't for my curiosity  to see how it was going each day when I got home, that I had to go open the door to see what got done while we where at work .we wouldn't have know that there were workmen in the house.
I will be giving Bob a call again when we are ready for are next update. We are so happy with our updated bathroom the fixtures, vanity, sink ...  it looks so rich .  Loving it!"

"All went very well! Loved working with Sam and his crew. He always responded to my questions very quickly. Any issues were quickly resolved. Love how the house looks now! Total time was 2 months from initial demolition of bathroom to kitchen finish. Seems reasonable based on extent of what we had done. Any delays were due to tradesmen not being available but Sam kept us in the loop on that. Would hire again!!"

"The guys came out and built a closet in a new addition for me. The work was done quickly, the finished product was nicer then expected, and the price was within range of what I expected. I will be hiring these guys again to build my deck this summer."

"It went great. I’ll start with the project manager Kevin. He is very patient, attentive and really cares about the customer’s concern. He will go out of his way to help the customer accomplish the even more complex things and make sure the customer is happy. All within a budget. I wasted money in the beginning not going to these guys. If I went to them early enough, I wouldn’t spend more than I did with previous contractors. Remodii will try to accomplish as much for you within the day. It’s a much bang for your buck. And then the workers they bring you are top class experienced professionals. These guys really know their stuff. All you need to do is get out of their way and they’ll give you what you ask for. And plus they’re honest and very helpful. They will even help on things that shouldn’t concern them. I was supposed to have a tile in a small area that removed a vanity from. They came and looked it and advised that I’d be much better served if I just installed a vanity there instead of filing. They gave advice based on design, time spent, and cost cutting. They went with me to the store and even helped in advising on the appropriate material to pick. I don’t see that very often. In fact I’ve never seen that. I have other projects that I want Remodii to handle for me because of my positive experience with them the first time. Go with these guys and remodel your mind and home."

"I bought an Angie's List deal on 4/20/2016. Dmitri called on 4/29/2016 to set up a time. He came on 5/4/2016 but didn't have the equipment to go up on the roof or measure windows. He said he was going on vacation and could he get back to me after 5/16-I told him that was fine. He didn't contact me after the 16th so I called him on 6/6/2016. He said he could stop on Wednesday 6/8/2016 to measure windows. No call, no show. On 6/14/2016, I got a text at 8:00 p.m. asking when he could stop over to measure windows. We set up for 5:00 p.m. the next day. At 5:05 the next day, he called saying that it was his anniversary and he couldn't show up. I asked him when he could stop by to look at the roof and he said he would stop by before the end of the week. He asked if I had a sample piece of siding that he could take. I put out the siding which was still there one week later. On 6/22/2016, I sent him a text and he said that he would still have to order windows that would take at least 3 weeks and the soonest he could start my project was some time in August. I contacted Angie's List to see if I could get a refund which they said I couldn't since it was over 30 days. I sent Dmitri a text on 6/30/2016 saying that Angie's List wouldn't refund my money and that I would still need his services. As of today, August 16, 2016, I have received no response. UPDATE: The contractor said that he never received my 6/30/2016 text which is why he never contacted me."
