"Ken came out originally to do some duct cleaning but noticed that a lot of our supply and returns weren’t sealed properly with mastic (he showed us the areas that needed work). He came back out and sealed all the ducts, installed an air purifier and cleaned and sanitized all the ductwork. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. "Options explored in detail & selection of unit was made by me. The proposal was sent out after an onsite inspection. Vendor identified that additional ductwork was not needed which another bidder was anxious to replace at a much higher cost. Terms and conditions were agreed upon in writing. Installation was performed the following week and an onsite inspection was made by a reliable source, since I could not do so myself from my home in Illinois. "ARS would NOT offer financing unless the job was over $10,000. The quote for the replacement heat pump was substantially below the requirement for financing but, unable to pay cash or get a loan, the sales rep RAISED the price of the job to $10,000 because that was all he was willing to do! Thanks for nothing, pal. I was forced to over pay just for the privilege of getting ARS financing! He said I had to also buy the thermostat that ?came with it?. I made it perfectly clear that I would be using my own. On installation day, the guy installing the unit did an acceptable job. At my request, they agreed to let me keep the old heat pump. I knew I could make some money from recycling it. The guy installing the new thermostat was completely unprofessional. He purposely threw my existing thermostat onto the floor like he was trying to damage it. Unacceptable, as I intended to reinstall it. Total lack of respect! I?m so happy that I won?t be dealing with ARS again."

"I purchased a new A/C unit. All went well with the sales and installation. After repeated return visits because the house was not getting cool we came to realize the new system was not compatible with the old duct work. An unexpected and expensive surprise. I felt as though that should have been identified earlier. The management did work hard to solve the problem. I did get additional quotes for the duct work just to be sure I wasn’t being taken advantage of. I must say that after having the duct work replaced the house temperature in every room if perfect! I am happy with the service I received and would call them again."

They installed a high end Daikin 5 Ton heat pump system and they modified ductwork from 2 to 3 zones. It took 2 days to complete due to extensive duct work modification.

The modified duct work with the Inverter system allows us to cool down our master bedroom at night and leave the rest of the house shut down. With the 5 ton inverter system the AC runs like a at 25% or less, like a 1 ton system, when one zone is calling.

They installed 3 wifi communicating thermostats and a new Zone board. It was a complex installation and one of the first 5 Ton Heat Pump inverter systems. Elite had manufacture reps come out to assist to fine tune the zones.

Wifi thermostats allow me to control each zone and monitor temperatures and humidity remotely via smartphone or Internet from anywhere. During the day when we use the pool we shut the master bedroom door to the rest of the house, turn off that zone and open the sliding glass door to the pool. The rest of the house remains cool airconditioned and the bedroom is at outdoor temperature so we don't freeze when entering wet from the pool.

Installers, Miguel and Danny worked efficiently, let me know all steps. Once the unit was physically installed Lee came out to program the system. I can't say too many good things about Lee. I am a retired Field Technical Services Manager and I would have loved to have someone like Lee on my team. Exceptional communication, great technical skills and all aroumd great guy.

Mike, who is a part owner, stopped out a few times to make sure everything was going well. Another great communicator.

"The service went great. Darren showed up right on time and went straight to work. He explained the entire process to me and let me watch along side him. Unfortunately the dryer vent was very clogged. The last part of the service includes going on the roof and cleaning out the vent cap. This includes a video with audio illustrating the vent being completely freed of debris. The dryer is now in great working order again. Would definitely recommend Fresh Air Services."
