When he left after repairing the contactor and capacitor and "cleaning" the unit (running a hose over the coils), AC unit froze over and damaged the furnace. "I purchased an Angies big deal for $39.00 with $150.00 worh of electrical services. The $424.00 cost of service was after the deduction of the $15.000.The techs were pleasant and the work was well done well except that they did not check the outlets in the bathrooms prior to leaving and had to be called back as they did not work when my wife checked them. The breaker had not been turned back on.  I supplied the outlets and plates as well as covers for the outside ones. The tech called me and informed me that the covers I purchased for the outside did not meet code and he would have to purchase bubble covers or not do the outside.  I agreed to the purchase never realizing that what he was going to purchase was $48.00 per unit. I have since checked weatherproof NEC complience covers and found them with an average price of $15.00. This is the only complaint I have. I feel that I should have been told what they would cost even though I did not ask . I could have purchased them on my own and installed  the 2 outside outlets myself.
