I responded, can you give me an estimate of how much it would cost. She responded, sir there is no charge, we just like helping out the community. I was shocked. Being on a fixed income. Craig arrived, removed the AC, and I started asking questions about mini split systems. He was here at least an hour explaining how they worked and my options. I have now ordered my new AC slash heatpump, to be installed. There was no pressure, just me asking questions and I loved what he had to say. Perfect gentleman."

"I called Peterson to have him replace a leaky bathroom faucet and a pop up drain that was in bad shape.  I had purchased the parts, including the feeder lines so the price is for labor only.  Peterson showed up a little early, took about 70 minutes to complete the job and went on his way.  The fixtures were installed as needed with no leaks or problems.  A very simple job for an expert plumber and I could not be more satisfied."

"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. This review is for all of you that are like me and come here to get the low down on a business. Do not hesitate to go with South Shore Fireplace. It is very hard to find craftsman who really care about what they do and also so nice to deal with. South Shore Fireplace will be my go to guys for the rest of my life. "Eddie did a fantastic job. He was able to come earlier, which helped me out. He explained what he was doing and got to work. One drain was a particularly hard job, but he kept at it until it worked perfectly. There were no hidden charges or attempts to jack up the cost. When he finished, he cleaned up completely. "Dudley Services was recommended to us by the contractor who was installing a new HVAC system.  We needed to move asbestos wrapped pipes for our air return and, aside from calling Sam at Dudley, called a few other places for a quote.  Not only did Sam respond almost immediately, but he came by quickly, provided a written quote quickly and gave us schedule openings before any of the other companies had even gotten back to me – further his quote was the lowest received.  Sam walked us through the permitting and hazardous material process (we have young children, so this was important) and answered all of our questions and inquiries promptly, and usually within the hour.  Dudley called to confirm the night before our scheduled abatement, and the guys were there at 8am (as promised) the next morning.  The process was completed on schedule (2 days) and come in on budget (including the air test required by law for sign-off).   I would highly recommend Sam and Dudley to anyone thinking about getting asbestos abatement.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
