"When my house was built 25 years ago the wrong gas line, type M was installed.  Earlier this year me and other neighbors were informed by letter from our county that when we had a new gas water heater installed we would also have to update the gas line to code.   Jeremiah had to replace the copper line with 'iron' lines, he did a great job!!  He is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful
with questions I ask him.  When I need a new air conditioning and heating unit Froggy's Heating & Air will be the first company I will contact."

"We had many issues with our computer - primarily with the CD/DVD drive and iTunes. Jim eliminated over 700 viruses from our computer, which was just the beginning. There continued to be problems within the systems of the computer. Luckily Jim charges by the job and not by the hour because he worked a LONG time to make it all work.  He kept in touch with me and addressed each issue as it arose until the job was done.  He was professional and courteous and hung in there until I was satisfied he had addressed everything. I would highly recommend Jim and will definitely use his services in the future, as needed.

"LARRY ROBINSON WAS THE LEAD ON THIS JOB. LARRY WAS DILIGENT AND KEPT THE WORK MOVING AT A RAPID PACE. HE ASKED QUESTIONS WHEN APPROPRIATE AND ASKED FOR APPROVAL OF SIGNIFICANT ITEMS. FROM START OF JOB TO COMPLETION IN JUST OVER 4 WEEKS. THERE WERE ONLY 1-2 DAYS IN THAT TIME THAT GOOD NEIGHBORS (GN) WAS NOT ON SITE WORKING. IN OUR CONTRACT I HAD ADDED A $250 BONUS FOR ON TIME OR EARLY DELIVERY (SIMILAR PENALTY FOR LATE DELIVERY). THEY DID EARN THE BONUS. I BELIEVE THAT GN WOULD HAVE MAINTAINED A SIMILAR SCHEDULE WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CONTRACT. SUBCONTRACTORS WERE USED FOR PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WORK. THERE WERE SOME ISSUES WITH THE PLUMBING INSTALLED AND SOME REWORK DURING THE 4 WEEK JOB ON THE PLUMBING, BUT GN DID NOT HESITATE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. GN TOOK ON THIS JOB THAT SEVERAL KITCHEN REMODELERS DID NOT WANT BECAUSE OF THE PLUMBING, GAS, AND ELECTRICAL WORK INVOLVED. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORK EXCELLENT."

"They came out and noticed that there was a low charge on the heat pump and noticed that there was some corrosion on some of the pipes so they figured there may be a leak in the system. As a result I will be getting a new unit altogether that is covered by the home warranty that Choice has provided. The only out of pocket cost that I need to pay for is any modifications and fabrication that needs to happen to integrate the new system. So in total I am paying $550 for a $5000 system."

FAQs for radiant floor heating system installation projects in Farmington, MO

Heated driveways either heat up with electric coils or from hot water flowing through pipes, coming from your boiler. These electric cables and pipes are generally only a couple of inches under the surface. As they heat, they heat up the thermal mass of the asphalt or concrete, which melts away the snow and ice. They usually run for an extra period after all the snow is melted to dry out the surface and avoid ice accumulation.

Heated driveways will melt off snow at a rate of about two to three inches per hour. The actual rate of melt depends on the temperature you have the heating set at, the type of driveway you have, and the climate you're in. Your driveway will melt much faster in 32 degrees than it will at zero degrees. So expect your results to vary a bit.

Heated driveways may crack if the embedded heating elements are positioned too near the surface or if a system malfunction occurs. This issue arises when the coils or tubes are not installed correctly, resulting in stress on the pavement. Once the heating system is fully corrected, the necessary repair involves sealing the cracks and resurfacing. This process restores strength and ensures lasting durability.

When installed and maintained correctly, a heated driveway lasts between 15 and 20 years, on average. Proper installation using professional standards and regular maintenance of components such as the boiler and wiring guarantees long-lasting performance. Consistent care and timely repairs secure the system's durability, ensuring reliable operation throughout its expected lifespan.

A heated driveway increases home value by enhancing curb appeal and ensuring safety during snowstorms. This reliable system adds a high-value feature that stands out in areas with heavy snow, reducing the need for manual snow removal. Homeowners benefit from improved aesthetics and energy efficiency, which contributes significantly to overall property marketability.
