"Absolutely outstanding service! I reached out just yesterday about getting my garage doors repaired, and David responded right away. He was at my house today and had the doors fixed in no time. What really stood out was the level of care he put into the job — he didn’t just repair the doors, he also reprogrammed my clickers and keypads to make sure everything was working seamlessly. David is professional, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. The whole process was stress-free, his pricing was very fair, and the quality of his work is excellent. It’s rare these days to find someone so reliable who truly goes above and beyond for their customers. If you need garage door service, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else — call David first!"

"Wish the rating scale went to 6 stars. We needed spring replaced and Randy responded quickly with proper equipment to complete the work professionally, and pleasantly. He worked around our confused schedule to get the work done as quickly as possible. Also, when the homebuilder originally installed the door an inadequate spring system was used which Randy corrected and the door now works better than ever. I highly recommend Expert Overhead Doors."

"HORRIBLE CONTRACTORS!!! I have had contractors before and experienced some issues but this Anthony guy is very unprofessional and he is an absolutely nightmare! Not a single item was completed from the contract he and I agreed on and he took 60% of the contract amount and he stopped working the property. I had a property with some cosmetic work stuff and repairs which shouldn’t be that complicated. After he toured the property and gave me estimated time frame for 2 weeks. I know normally how it is not done with contractors so I asked him a few more times and confirmed if he could really finish it in two weeks. He was confident and said two weeks for no problem. After it has been almost 4 weeks, not even a quarter of work has been done and I noticed he didn’t even show up. He has so many excuses and complaints every single time when I contacted him. It felt like he was working for free which was not true. We agreed on 3 installment payments, 1st installment, before the job start about 30% of the total price, and 2nd one, 1/3 of the total price, and the last one at the completion of the job. After 2 weeks of work and not much of work has been done, he already requested for the 2nd installment. I asked him, the work has not been done 2/3 of the job, more over not even half way done. Anyway, he got upset and he wouldn’t continue the job if I didn’t pay. So I paid and then BOOM! He didn’t show up at work and when I asked him, his answer was it is too cold to work at the property. He made excuses and excuses and he said he will only come back if the heater is fixed. I did and texted him and called him. NO RESPONSE. Besides, his quality of work is horrible. He and his crew painted all over, light fixtures, light bulbs, floors, even bathtub. What kind of painter paint over the tub?! They simply didn’t even covered the parts not supposed to paint but they were so lazy and sloppy worker. They installed the brand new room doors, two out of three, didn’t even close properly and didn’t even use the shim. Installing the door is one of the basic carpentry job and he can’t even do that! I asked for the breakdown of the work and cost and no answer. When I confronted him for a few stuff, he just blah blah blah and repeating himself by making endless nonsense and not doing the job at all. Even if he does a job, not a good quality one."

"I had 15 new windows put in my home that cost over $17,000 back in 2022 as the people who originally put them in for Install America didn't speak English enough to understand them. I caught then drinking alcohol and smoking marihuana. I called their boss and he did nothing. The windows were put in crooked (as on a slant), plus some were not installed in the entire way and water leaked in and I could see around the windows to the outside. I would talk to a guy named Bill, whom is a complete liar, as it seems to work at Install America you have to be a liar and not know what you are doing. So it seems if you want to work for this company, you have to know needle point not windows. This is now 2026 and they send someone to come fix my windows every year, and every year the windows still leak air badly. 2025 Bill sent a guy here who use to work for Anderson Windows (Derek) and he said he would be here from day one until finish and he came one time and never returned because of speech. FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Fenwick Island, DE

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
