"This is my third time hiring Charles -- he has done 2 bathrooms for me over the years. This spring I had the entire ground floor redone--it was gutted down to the studs in places and redone into new spaces for a kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room. Charles has great vision -- he can see a space and visualize solutions. I had other bidders, who were stumped as to what to do with the space. Charles had no hesitation and designed a space that is absolutely stunning and exactly what I had in mind. He hires really high quality subs who have long term relationships with him. He insists on quality work and does not cut corners. The electrical, cabinetry, tile and wood floor work were done by specialists who are absolute craftsmen. This was a 4 month project that just wrapped up a few days ago. I highly recommend Charles -- he doesn't have a slick website but is authentic, and completes what he says he will, when he says he will, with quality. My new space is so lovely."

They also replaced the deck on my shed, and did a wonderful job on that as well. They were quick to respond to my initial request for a bid, accomplished the work within my time frame, did quality work, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Everything was done on time and as agreed.  There were no surprises.  What was explained to me as to how the job would progress happened just as described.  The dirt was removed, the wall was cleaned & a skim coat of cement put on, then waterproofed, a french drain was installed and then backfilled.
The only recommendation I have for improvement, and why I put a 'B' on professionalism, is that some cleanup could have been done a little earlier than it was.  Everything was cleaned completely at the end of the job, but during the job drink containers and other nonconstruction debris were lying around the work area.  This didn't bother me too much but my wife wishes that at least before a weekend things could have been cleaned up a bit more.
Working with Q was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again."
