"Sales were informative, but the service team performed all that I asked and more. I would recommend NV Waterproofing to others. Cost was reasonable for the situation."

"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"Note - they are very busy, so get on their list early as once Spring hits they are hard to get. <br /> Due to weather, the job got rescheduled a few times ( no problem really), <br /> but they came out and did an awesome job.  The concrete was level, flush <br /> with the sidewalk and none of my landscaping was damaged in the <br /> process.  I was not home for the work, but everything was back in place/ and clean when I arrived Friday evening.   I was able to pay with my credit card and Mark informed me of another issue he noticed regarding my storm drain.   A good heads up which I appreciated.  Overall, a very good experience. <br /> Note <br /> - they need access to a hose bib and electricity to execute the <br /> leveling.  All my utilities were off and back in proper order. <br />"

"We moved into a new home last year that had a hand-made front walkway/patio from the previous owner. The old walkway had big pieces of slate stone laid into concrete for a mosaic effect, but the stone pieces were coming up and the walkway itself was unlevel, crumbling and a trip hazard. <br /> Josh from M&F Concrete came all the way out to our remote home location and gave me a great quote. He definitely knew what he was talking about and brought up points that other contractors who gave me estimates hadn't even considered. He didn't try to pressure me by upselling into something I didn't want and his price was far better than other quotes I had received. Even better, he was able to squeeze us in to his busy schedule within two weeks! <br /> The final product was beautiful and really made the front of our house look 100% better. I would definitely hire M&F again and will when we are ready to build our backyard patio! <br />"

"Last year, we needed to replace our 60 year old concrete driveway, and got a few quotes from different companies. Bright (Steve in particular) provided a great, detailed quote, and was very knowledgeable and responsive to our questions, so we went with Bright. We are glad we did. The driveway turned out great. This year, we needed to replace a flagstone walkway and patio, and went with Bright again. Bright's construction team was meticulous, courteous, and responsive to our questions and requests. It was clear from watching Bright's masons work that they took pride in their craftsmanship. The patio and walkway look great."

"I said this before, but I'll say it again. Mixing Bowl is our "first call" for an all-purpose contractor. This was our second experience with Mixing Bowl. We had new shower valves and controls installed. Joel is a master plumber--he installed all new shower hardware and repaired a pin-hole leak in less than 4 hours. Superior workmanship, consummate professionalism and unmatched customer service."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Fort Myer, VA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
