"We are not rating this company, as they did not do any work for us. There was a misunderstanding and it turns out they only do plumbing work and we had a problem with our hot water heater. We did still have to pay a $95 call out fee."

"Great. Got hold of Eric Torres just when he was to start another job at around 8:30 PM. He told me he was about to start a job, and that if he were to work after 10:00 PM it would cost double time. I agreed to that and he arrived at about 9:30. Before 10:00 he was finished and the clog was removed. Eric was professional and courteous. We are quite pleased with the experience and would recommend Michael's Plumbing to anyone."

"It went great. I really liked working with Robert Q. He asked good questions, was friendly and professional and focused. He assessed the job, gave me an estimate and got to work. He checked my system to make sure that there were no leaks and rerouted some pipes for me. One of my favorite questions is "can you work and answer my questions at the same time and he said yes. Soooo ... I got many of my pressing, stress producing questions handled. I am thinking about how and when I will get a couple of my needed projects completed with Straight Up's assistance."

"I called All Hours Air on Saturday night around 11:00 PM and I was surprised that I had a person answer the phone answering my questions this late at night. He explained to me immediately to turn off the circuit to my air conditioner to prevent anything worse happening. He offered to repair it that same night, but he warned me that it will cost me much more money on the weekend. I decided to wait until Monday to schedule a time for All Hours Air to come out and repair the disconnect box. On Monday morning I called All Hours Air at 8:00 to schedule an appointment. I was expecting to have them not be able to schedule a repair until the following week. Much to my surprise they were able to come out to my home the same day I called a little after 3:00. I was super happy that they could fix my problem immediately rather than waiting for weeks for somebody to come out to my home. Michael arrived at my home on time on September 14 at around 3:00 to ask me questions and immediately knew what to do to fix the problem. He replaced the disconnect box and recommended me to purchase a surge protector. He was very up front with the extra cost not originally quoted in the repair. I went with his suggestion and got that installed. He then informed me that the air conditioner compressor needs to be checked along with the coolant system. He offered me to purchase in addition a coolant lubricant to clean out the system. I opted to have this service done. Michael explained to me that this will make the compressor work more efficiently with less strain on the compressor and make it quieter. I was a little put back with the cost of the repair. I didn’t expect to pay $1836 for the repair, but with the extra recommendations it raised the price. Michael repaired everything in less than 2 hours and my air conditioner was working properly again. About a week later on the weekend after the repair I was concerned when I noticed the air compressor had short cycled turning on and off and was worried that my compressor was going bad. To prevent any further damage I turned off the circuit to the compressor and turned off the breaker. I called them immediately on Monday and Michael came back to my house a few days later to assess the situation. He tested all the circuits, wires, and did his pressure tests. He discovered that the temperature of the copper tubing was not acting normally and the levels were abnormal. Evidently the lubricant did its job, but the dirt and grime that it cleaned out got clogged up in the filter drier as it circulated back to the air compressor. Michael explained to me that I had a choice to replace the filter drier, but he would have to cut the line and push the coolant through the tubing to allow him to repair it. He was very upfront that the method may not work and it is a risk, but I went for it and it turned out fine. That costed me another $400. So my total repair since I called All Hours Air was $2200 for the two visits. I thought that was a high price, but the thorough job they did on the repair justified it. I was very pleased with Michael’s professionalism and educating me about all things AC in simplified terms. He was patient and kind answering all my questions. He allowed me to watch and learn what he was doing and I never felt like he was rushing through the job, but being very thorough through tests and other means to make sure my air conditioner was working perfectly. I was super impressed how fast he worked, but he explained everything in a clear and meaningful way what he was exactly doing. As Michael recognized the problems I experienced and the high cost I already paid from his first visit he gave me a discount on his service as well as included a yearly maintenance plan as part of the quote from the 2nd repair. He felt concerned about the filter drier clogging up and felt bad after he recommended to clean up the coolant system with the lubricant. He didn’t realize it would remove so much gunk and clog up the drier filter. The good news is my air conditioner is working as if it is brand new. It runs quieter and works way better with the new thermostat. I hope my compressor that is over 20 years old continues to work well otherwise it will be a major cost to replace with a new air conditioning unit. As a bonus he checked my Nest thermostat that I just installed to make sure everything was set properly. I am very pleased with All Hours Air and would highly recommend them to repair any plumbing, AC, Heater, or other issues. They were very prompt and kind with their service. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and their service proves it. I couldn’t be more happy that my HVAC system is working better than ever. Thank you All Hours Air for your awesome service. They already came out for my maintenance plan to service my furnace and didn’t they find any problems."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Glenbrook, NV

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
