"In June of this year, an old (32 yrs. old) self-contained unit decided it was time to retire and communication was lost on the upstairs split system. With a family reunion scheduled within a few days the family at Giesbrecht installed new duct work to the upstairs to supply cool air until the part for the split system was delivered and a new self-contained unit was installed. Although I was an existing customer (2 new units about 6 yrs ago), this type of customer service was over and beyond any expectations. The amount of people and communication from the office to support all the work that was involved was outstanding. There were many people at Giesbrecht, on the ground and at the office, that supported these activities that were necessary to complete all of the work involved. "They didn't end up doing the work. They were really high on what they wanted to do. Other people who looked at the porch said that it was not causing an issue with any water intrusion and that there doesn't seem to be any signs on the posts that this could have been recent, it could have been long ago. So no work was done. It was a front porch that had just the level concrete on one side was dipping just a little bit. I think they were going to pump it up from underneath or something like that to level it out. I would say that their response time and their professionalism of getting the quote to us on a timely manner was good. The quote was high and yet the work was not necessary according to other quotes. They should be honest to say when repairs are necessary and when they are not. The guy who showed up was nice and professional and was on time. There was a decent response time."

"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.

"This was second experience working with Mr. Payne. He is a true and very skilled professional. Back in summer 2021, the temperature on 2nd floor of my home was around 85 to 90 degrees and I called many other HVAC repair company and they said the easiest "we can get to it would be next week." Then one of my co-workers gave me Mr. Payne's number and stated "he's an outstanding technician." I called Mr. Payne and he came and fixed my HVAC the same day. He also informed me that my unit systems were still covered under the manufacture warranty and did the necessary paperwork for me get the warranty. My other HVAC system had stop working last this week March 18th 2025, and I called Mr. Payne again that night. He came out the next day, repaired my HVAC and it running smoothly again. Mr Thomaston responded to my request for help quickly, set up a diagnostic appointment, presented 2 estimates (repair or replace). I selected the repair and as soon as the parts were received, my AC was fixed the next day. His estimate was not only less than half of that from my homeowner's policy, but the actual final bill was half of his estimate.
