"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. Got the part and he installed it and verified everything was working correctly with no leaks of water or natural gas. I was particularly impressed by something that might seem odd to be impressed by. My husband was the one who got the estimate from the owner, who quoted $450. After the service was done (by two other employees) and with me there, I was presented an invoice for $450 plus a $49 charge for a service call. I paid it, thinking my husband must have not told me that part. When I found out it was supposed to only be $450 total, I messaged the owner on here and asked just to be sure. He immediately issued a refund check for the $49, confirming that he did quote $450. While it was perhaps inconvenient to be charged incorrectly to begin with, I understand mistakes happen, and in times like that, I particularly appreciate prompt fixing of the problem. Would recommend this company for sure."
