"Jon is very professional in his approach. He explained multiple options to remedy my situation, including some DIY options that could save me some money. I used his recommendations for both his remediation service along with some of my own DIY. Rates are very reasonable, work was completes in a timely fashion. Will definitely use them again if ever needed. I highly recommend them."

"I hired David with SEEC because of his reputation and expertise. I knew David before he did the job. However, we became even closer friends after the job. I don't think you can find another smarter and more professional person in the business."

"Andrew with AFS Water Services was incredible. He was genuinely kind, patient, and truly cared about solving our problem—not just selling something. He went above and beyond with testing (5–6x more than other companies) to actually get answers. He also helped us identify and navigate additional plumbing issues with honest, thoughtful recommendations. This meant a lot after we previously spent $10,000 with another company and got zero results. Within less than a week, my husband’s chronic skin condition has already improved—something even dermatologists couldn’t fix. Highly recommend Andrew. Truly rare to find this level of care and dedication."

"We read the other reviews and we decided to book based off of them, however our experience was very different. First I will say that the mold was removed and Dan appeared to do a good job with that. Our biggest complaint was communication. We had taken a day off of work to be there for it to be done and when I texted to confirm our appointment he canceled 5 minutes prior to his arrival time. We rescheduled and this continuously happened. Our times were pushed back, rescheduled, or canceled and each time we got ridiculous excuses. Any time we reach out whether it be phone call, text, or email, we would not get a response and often had to send several follow ups. He came out and retested for our 6 month follow up on May 9th and said the results would be sent the next day and of course we have not gotten anything. The communication has been terrible and nothing has been done in a timely manner. He left the air scrubbers at our house for over a week and we continuously have to ask him to send results or follow up. While the first original job seemed good, we are absolutely fed up with the lack of communication and would not recommend to anyone considering using this company. For as much money as we spent, we expected to be able to get in contact with him, but that does not happen."

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Hartville, OH

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
