"The three installers, Mirek, Mike, and Jonathan arrived promptly for the all-day job. All three were very professional. They came with their own dollies to bring the equipment to my unit, provided drop cloths to protect the flooring in my unit and in the building corridors, and answered questions about the equipment to my satisfaction. Will, the Shavitz Heating and AC Specialist who advised me on the equipment options, also stopped by to check on the installation. When the work was completed, the installers went through a checklist to make sure the installation was completed properly and the fan coil was operating correctly. They also showed me how to replace the filter and how to program the thermostat. Will also contacted me to see if I was satisfied and offered to stop by and program the thermostat."

"Adrian came put promptly on time and fixed the problem - it was a broken coupler (as we suspected). But a new issue arose: when testing the repair, he noticed a different sound that could suggest a prohibitive transmission repair in the near future. Of course there was no way for him to have known since the machine wasn't operating before he fixed the coupler. Still, he'd done his job faithfully and we paid him and he went on his way. That afternoon Nick, the owner, sent a thank you email and receipt, and we took the opportunity to let him know about our unfortunate result. He immediately called and set up a time the next day to listen and see for himself, at no charge. We were pleasantly shocked! They both came out again, silenced the noise instantly with lubrication to the clutch, and thankfully it seems that if we need a future fix at all, it will be to the clutch, a moderate repair, and still well worth it for this valuable machine. Both Adrian and Nick explained everything clearly, what they were doing, why, and what our options were, including comparing repair to replacement. (They do recommend one brand of machine for quality, but the capacity is smaller than our current appliance, and we do plenty of laundry). Anyway, we highly recommend Park Ridge Appliance Service on all counts. Not only don't they make them like they used to, it's rare to find a service company like this anymore. "Willy was extremely thorough in troubleshooting potential causes for the lack of heat coming from my heater. He progressively eliminated the thermostat and multiple other components before concluding the heater was having air flow issues and had been repeatedly overheating. He educated me along the way about how to decipher heater status codes, what the heater behavior told him as he was trying different things, what he believed the problem was, and what options I had. He also educated me about filters and suggested I use a more porous filter, despite my allergies. Ultimately, my best option was to replace the heater and air conditioner, given the repeated stress the heater had been under for multiple years, its current performance, the interconnectedness of the heater and air conditioner, and the fact I planned to stay in the condo for years more. Because Willy did such a nice job educating me and helping me understand the implications of each option, I feel good about the decision to replace the units."

"Everything was great except they broke the exterior dryer vent cover. They said they would return and replace it. They never did. It never should have happened in the first place. A true professional would have removed the cover when cleaning to eliminate the possibility of damage."

He had the part on his truck. Couldn't have asked for better service. fixed within 8 hours of posting. Completed work on overtime ( after 5 )"
