"Perfect! Prime Plumbing answered on my first call and scheduled plumber to come out and inspect job and offer quote. I accepted immediately and the scheduled the job for exactly when I asked. The plumber, Donald, who came out to inspect and quote the job also did the job. He installed a new natural gas line and manifold, set up the pressure test for the county inspector, hooked the line up to BGE's meter after they ran the outside line, and then connected our new gas dryer and vent to the outside. He also supplied and installed a new sanitary sink and water supply and waste lines in our basement. His work was perfect! The price was very fair and competitive. Their office staff is friendly, helpful and answers the phone immediately. We will use Prime Plumbing for all of our future needs and they have our highest recommendation."

"This guy is awesome!!! He showed up on time and worked hard. He was friendly and communicated all that he was doing. He had a sense of humor too. I teased him that he couldn't be a proper plumber since I didn't see butt crack. He offered to drop his pants a bit. No thanks!!! We all laughed. <br /> We had leakage issues in basement and really strange pipe arrangements. He ripped out the strangeness and replaced it with clean, straight connections that are properly fixed to walls and ceiling studs. It turned out that previous owners had installed the wrong type of PVC pipes on the hot water lines. That's why it leaked if you looked at it crosswise. We now have the correct piping and basement is dry and pretty. And I can run hot water to laundry without buckets on floor to catch leaks. Yippee! <br /> Would I hire this guy again? Oh yes!!! When we're ready to rebuild basement bathroom next year, this is the guy I'll call. <br />"

"Obviously I had concern over possible expense of new heat pump system, but Phil visited us Monday morning, opened and flushed out the system Freon gas, replaced a valve and low and behold, system works great. This is one of 3 heat pumps we have on service contract with HGH and no matter what weather conditions persist, HGH will pull out stops to restore service promptly. We highly recommend HGH for AC support. In addition Phil recently recharged our Sub Zero refrigerator when another company only wanted to sell us a new $9,000 refrigerator. HGH has a polite, talented tech team as well as professional office staff. Great company to deal with. "While I was in our crawl space for another reason, I saw that raw sewage from one of the bathrooms was being dumped on the ground. I couldn't tell if a pipe connection was broken, or if there was a worse problem. I called Edgar Plumbing and arranged for them to come out the next morning. Bob, the owner, and another Bob arrived promptly at 8:00, and got right to work to determine the problem. I had warned them on the phone that the opening was very small, but the second Bob was able to go in with no problem. After partially digging out the ancient cast iron pipe they could see that it was full of holes and tree roots, and could not be repaired. In spite of the very cramped area, (and the cold) they were able to dig out the old pipe and replace it the same day. We appreciated their prompt service, and I felt the price was reasonable. They were friendly and professional from start to finish--including my initial call. It was also obvious that owner and worker had a great deal of respect for each other, which I was happy to see. "He came with his son, which is fine. His son was older and also I guess, was learning plumbing. So, maybe, he was like an apprentice doing apprenticeship with his dad. They both seemed very knowledgeable. They didn't do extra. They did the minimum that was required. They did it right. For the piping that leaves our water heater, rather than configure the piping so that it's more direct, they just added a little piece here and there. The father is very professional, the son, not as much. All in all, they knew what they were doing. The son did one part and the father did one part. What the father did was an 'A.' He even talked to me about making things a more direct route. The son was the one who kind of patched it. He was working downstairs while I was upstairs with the father. What the father did was just perfect and what the son did works. I think their price is very fair. They were pretty responsive compared to other people in the area who say they'll get back to you and they never will. After calling them, it didn't take more than a week or two. They were on time. They couldn't come one of the days they originally planned and they let me know."
