"The service tech that came to our house, John, was very courteous, very knowledgeable and detected several issues that he explained in detail and it was easy to concur with his assessments. He found a big clog in a very old pipe, which had broken as he was inspecting it. This clog had been giving us problem and was preventing the air from turning on. He ran to home depot, bought a replacement part and installed it, at no additional charge! He also vacuumed the heating unit and installed a new latch to hold the filter in place. He took the time to explain about the need to ensure the filter is secure so dirt and dust does not work its way into the main unit (Which would be very bad!). He examined the outside air conditioner and we scheduled another appointment in 6 months for a nice general check up. The outside unit may have a leak, which we were previously aware of, but he provided us additional details and let us know what our future options may be. We decided in 6 months, when they return for the semi-annual service we signed up for, that we could see how everything is looking. Very happy with the experience with Magnolia!"

"Our central a/c unit stopped working yesterday evening in 100 degree heat. I immediately called Vigen (at 7:10PM on a Friday btw) and he picked up and squeezed us in the next day. He came today (8/29/15) and had us up and running again in 30 minutes. The starter needed to be replaced. We are so very grateful. Vigen and his guys at North Air really know their stuff. They're punctual, courteous, fair, and do great work.
Two years ago, our central a/c unit was rattling terribly on the roof. We called a few different companies for estimates and liked Vigen's the best. All of the estimates cited similar issues with the install we had done in 2009. The a/c unit was not properly attached to the house...it wasn't draining right...also there were problems with how the furnace was installed in the attic...and I don't remember any more details two years later. What I remember is that the unit was no longer rattling on the roof and suddenly the house was getting much cooler, much faster, much more quietly. 
We also really like the mini-split unit that North Air installed in the garage. It works great and is virtually silent. We will continue to use North Air for all our HVAC needs. It's a relief to know we have a dependable company to call when things get way to hot or way too cold....

"Chis and his son came out to assess and give a quote but he found damage to the condenser.  He replaced the condenser and demonstrated that it was working outside but the air coming from the vents in the house was still warm.  So he determined that the coil  would also need to be replaced.  Chris explained the steps to be taken and why it was needed.  They worked hard in very hot conditions and were very professional.  They cleaned up the work site before leaving.

"I had already called a few "24-hour" plumbers advertised in the Yellow Pages, with no response. I found "Bob &Marc" on Angie's List, reviewed the ratings/recommendations, which looked good, so I called.  Marc & Bob plumbing advertises 24-hr service, and employed an answering service,so I actually spoke to a human being, instead of a machine.  That was a nice surprise!!  After leaving a message with the answering service, shortly after, I received a call back from "Nick",  from "Marc & Bob", who said he was their "on call" plumber for the weekend.  I told Nick about the main inlet water leak, but I decided to wait until Monday morning, to avoid the "accelerated" weekend rate.  Nick did not show up Monday morning, so I called "Marc & Bob" plumbing on Monday morning and spoke with Sandra.  She immediately apologized, was helpful and professional, and told me that Nick had a personal emergency and she would send someone else out ASAP.  Dan & his assistance, Kevin, responded about an hour and a half later.  They were polite and professional.  Dan replaced the water inlet on/off valve to my home.  My home is very old, which made the job a little tricky.   Dan had to return the next day, because it had leaked again, but showed up on time...right when he said he would, apologized, and solved the leak problem!  I recommend "Bob & Marc" plumbing and would use them again.  (Hopefully, I won't have to call for a long time!) : )    "
