"Cesar and his workers' were prompt. Most importantly, they are efficient and professional individuals. They completed the home improvement projects as promised. Cesar also fixed another home improvement project; we had not discussed. Lastly, the team cleaned-up after they finished the home projects."

Carlos Palomino is the very best when it comes to remodeling. He originally register his company as a handyman. Very quickly people learned that his craftsmanship was the very best. He went from being a handyman to building bran new homes in no time. The difference is he is not going to sub a lot of work out; he is able to do most things himself. Having a general contractor on the job gives you not only excellence but you can count he is on time as well.

"Miguel built us a beautiful retaining wall. He and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and fast! They were at our house first thing in the morning every day during the build, and finished the wall faster than I've ever seen any contractor, on any jobsite! we absolutely love the work He did, and are looking forward to hiring him again when we finish our backyard project!"

"Nick and his crew were AMAZING! They were professional, polite, and clean. Nick was insightful and instantly came up with a concept design and plan. They installed a yard drainage system, created a front walkway with pavers and steps, regraded our whole property, added mulch beds, added top soil and seeded with hay for a new lawn. They worked fast and had the entire project finished in a week’s time. Highly recommend!"

"He did a great job. Its looks amazing. The contractor was the only one out of 4 I called who met me the same day I called to check the work, gave  me a price the same date and gave me a written contract with the work to be performed, date for completion and he delivered on time and even took pictures after the work was finished."

"John does great work and is a great person. We hired John for a decent-sized patio, grill and fire pit re-build project in Montclair, and he listened and adjusted to what we wanted. He was always timely, did exactly what he said he would (and even went the extra mile), and followed up on any and all concerns we had as the project was underway. He did all of this in line with his quoted time frame and price. We were very happy and immediately had him do some needed sidewalk repair as well, at our request. John is professional, hard-working and dependable. John and his team were respectful when working on site, and we had zero issues. Additionally, he was always reachable via phone/text. John simply delivered on everything that was expected for our job. I highly recommend John. The photos of his work will be uploaded shortly."

"Matthew, owner of Ayers Construction, was very professional as well as personable.
We are owners of new construction and sad to say, our builder did not do a great job.  Given all the problems we've discovered since recently moving in (and after being stood up 4 times by other contractors), Matthew was indeed a "breath of fresh air"!!
He went out of his way to make sure that our needs were taken care of and even pointed out things that needed repair that we didn't even realize.  As an example, one of our kitchen drawers was not shutting properly causing damage to the side of the drawer. Once he repaired it, he checked all the other drawers and discovered several others were not aligned correctly as well. Had he not taken the initiative to check, we would have eventually had the same issue.  Throughout the house we found that our tiled floors were not fully grouted, paint job was unprofessional, doors were coming off the hinges - too many things to list.  There was not enough time to get all the repairs completed. We look forward to having him return soon.
Matthew provided quality work at an affordable price.  I highly recommend him and plan to spread the word to my clients and friends!!

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Highland Lakes, NJ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
