"Great company! I met them at a home show and had them come out and give a bid on taking out my old heater and replacing with a heat pump and air handler. Jeremy came out and gave a very thorough bid with several options on compressor/air handler combo. We ended up choosing a middle of the line solution that was very competitively priced in comparison with the other bids we got. What sold me was their attention to customer service and the ratings they received. This was not a cheap system and I wanted someone who would stand by their work and work with us to our satisfaction. I am very pleased. The installer crew showed up on time and went right to work. They found some wiring issues and fixed them as well at no change to bid. They spent a long day but did it all as planned. They took the time to do a walkthrough on the electronic air cleaner and on setting up the new thermostat (it even has weather forecasts on it!) and operation of the system. Again, very happy with that touch. I am also planning on a yearly maintenance contract that extends the warranty of the system if I continue to use them (which I will) for up to ten years. Janice in the front office kept me well informed throughout the process as well, even scheduling inspections. "I purchased a new Navien NPE-240A2 Tankless Water Heater and had it installed. I'm loving the new water heater. It replaces an old Noritz tankless that died just before this installation. The on-site estimate was what sold me. Ken went through all the details and answered a lot of questions from me. Zachary came out with Austin and performed the installation just like I discussed with Ken. Zachary kept me in the loop throughout the installation to ensure I was in agreement with how it was going. Zachary always had my interest at heart and ensured no corners were cut. The installation is much cleaner, and more correct than the previous tankless company did. Zachary even listened to my concern about the astectics of the exterior exhaust and quickly found an easier and cleaner looking way to address my concern. He also removed an old recirculation pump and replaced a new main house shutoff valve. The entire area was treated respectfully and left cleaner than they found it."

"Seatown did mostly a good job I suppose installing a new gas burning high efficiency furnace. When the salesperson was providing their initial consultation, they pointed out that our existing thermostat would have to be replaced and the 3-wire thermostat wire would need to be upgraded to 8-wire for the high efficiency furnace. They were going to charge me some exorbitant fee to pull the new wire through 5 feet of wall. When I questioned it, they knocked it down to $500. I told them I'd buy new wire and pull it through myself before they showed up. Needless to say I was pleased to find out that the technician only used 3 of the wires anyway so that attempted overcharge would have been for nothing? Also the technician very cleverly did NOT place the new thermostat on the wall such that it covered up the old hole in the wall so I had to move it after they left. I can't say I was too happy with the furnace exhaust pipe. First, they placed the exhaust pipe above our gas meter but the inspector didn't flag it so I guess there's no issue. Also they used non-paintable caulk to seal the exhaust pipe so that painting it to blend in with the siding was a bit of a problem. They also didn't provide any sort of screen for the exhaust pipe to keep animals from crawling in it. When I questioned that they said that the carbon monoxide would kill them. So their solution is to have a dead animal in our furnace exhaust? Not to mention that doesn't really work in the summer when the furnace isn't running. Other than those rookie mistakes I noticed, I'm sure everything else was done properly?"

"We had rat damage to our insulation and ducts in our crawl space. In addition the vapor barrier needed to be dealt with. He did a great job as this was a tough area to work in. We also had him clean our dryer duct as it also was under the house. He took it apart and brushed it clean. We were so happy with all his work that we had him clean all of our furnace ducts with his power brush and vacuum."

We are repeat customers and have worked with Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning for regular annual furnace inspections and a duct cleaning. We have been pleased every time and this time was no different.

I met with Rob on Monday (3/9). He was responsive and gave helpful information about the options available for air conditioner units and the process for getting one installed. He got us an installation appointment for the very next day.

The installers arrived at the promised time the next day and worked diligently for about 6.5 hours, into the early evening. They were positive, friendly, and patient about answering our questions. Their workmanship was high quality and they explained what would happen on day two of the installation. Before leaving they thoroughly cleaned the garage where they were working.

The second day of installation was today (3/13). An electrician (Linder Electric) and an Overlake service technician came out to finish the installation. We weren't here when they performed the work, but again the end results all looked clean, nice, and organized.

The Overlake scheduler and office staff are excellent about communicating updates. We appreciate the responsiveness, reliability, expertise, and professionalism of all of the Overlake staff and definitely recommend them.
