Finally I decided to replace the faucet and contacted Texas Eco-Plumber. They replied quickly and scheduled my appointment. "Called at 8 am Saturday and on call plumber said he had a scheduled appointment but would be able to make the repair Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival he removed the insulation and found that the pipe had separated at the connector. JD Plumbing had repaired the pipe in January 2018 after the pipe froze and burst. The plumber, Sean, pointed out that the repair they made had separated but said since it was past the one year warranty he would need to call his manager to see what could be done on price. Sean made he call, sent a picture of the broken pipe and, after a second discussion, advised that the repair (normally $399) would be made at no charge even though we were past their warranty. This company is responsive, honest, and provides great customer service."

He listened to what I had to say and what I wanted done and he gave me an estimate for the work. He also told me what could go wrong and that it might end up costing more so he was up front with me. He was able to get it repaired within the original estimate pretty quickly. He also recommended replacing the bad galvanized section with PVC so that it would last longer. He also used the Shut-Off valve I purchased already to keep my costs down. Much appreciated."
