"Professional and courteous. They're not going to do you any favors but their service is solid. They fixed a leak on my Mitsubishi Mr. Slim ductless mini-split (a heater/ac wall unit). First, one of their techs came out to diagnose. He checked some stuff, found that there was no refrigerant and scheduled an LSR tech (leak, search and repair). Diagnosis: $215 The LSR tech came out, checked the system and found that there was a loose valve. He tightened it and checked the system and we were good to go. He evacuated the system and charged it with refrigerant. He also did maintenance on the outside unit. It looked pretty clean after he was done. Nitrogen Leak Check System (bubble test for leaks): $651 Repair Each Leak and test: $193 per fix Evacuate System: $432 Charge System with Refrigerant: $491 Subtotal: $1982 Yup, two thousand dollars. This is Seattle for you and not sunny Los Angeles. They probably could have taken off the fix charge but I get it. Either way, they fixed my system and I'm happy. I would recommend Greenwood based on their solid service and professionalism. If you're getting an AC unit fixed get quotes! I submitted requests for quotes after the diagnosis and out of the 5 or 6 companies that I contacted nobody would give me a quote and they wanted to send out their own tech to diagnose. But I already had a diagnosis. So I just went with Greenwood. I hope this helps someone out there. My AC is ice cold and I'm happy. Maybe it'll spit out popsicles!"

"I wanted to pass on my experience with Evergreen who went the extra mile after my Mitsubishi slim AC started leaking water before the hot summer months. I had called a Kirkland company who came out diagnosed the issue and charged me an exorbitant amount. However after I informed them it was registered and parts were under warranty they dropped me like a hot potato and never called back. On the other hand Victoria at Evergreen called me regularly to update on the warranty and parts and scheduled a full day repair with Jesse, an excellent technician. He used appropriate PPE, educated me about the problem, even provided less expensive options, and finally completed the long arduous process of replacing parts and recharging the refrigerant all for a reasonable amount. Voila AC again! I would highly recommend this company - to do your job efficiently and technically correct, without overcharging or trying to upscale you. Peace of mind is priceless. RobinM"

Mitchell handled a drywall repair issue related to the installation by taking personal responsibility and action to cover the cost himself. "This company is legit when it comes to air and heating repairs. It was them that I was able to hire for my unit's issue, and I was glad that they forwarded me its masterful technician to do it. A very dependable technician who amazingly performs the task and finishes it within an hour. Fast forward a year later and I want to add a heat pump to my home and the same technician came out and quoted me and excellent price, I could not say no and went ahead and let him and his installers install a new heat pump so I can efficiently run AC and Heat in my home. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
