"My wife and I just got a water softener system installed ; the two technicians, DeMarion and Adrien, were great: very professional, they explained to us the water system in details and they installed it pretty fast too. I recommend this company."

"Put simply, if you aren't using MC Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs, you should be. Woke up this morning to a leak in my garage. A friend recommended MC Plumbing, and when I called at 730am Scott answered the phone on the second ring. He listened to my problem, and arranged to have someone come take a look between 8am and 10am. As I write this, it is still not 10am, and my problem has been fixed. Makay showed up on time, was courteous and professional, and immediately fixed my problem. There was no upselling, and I wasn't charged for anything I didn't need. Honestly, I've dealt with a lot of licensed professionals, and you would be very hard-pressed to find any better than MC Plumbing. My highest possible recommendation!"

"Please think twice before using this company. I have been a very loyal customer for the past 8 to 9 years. Recently ownership has changed and so has their commitment to customer service. One and a half years ago I had them install a $10,000.00 AC unit. The condensation line was not installed correctly and moisture and was pooling on my patio roof. When the inspector came out I explained the problem and he had them reposition it. No tack down, when I called the office they stated that wasn't under warranty. My son had to tack it down. He did not go on the roof or touch the unit. Then winter came and, guess what, the heater wouldn't turn on. When a tech could finally come out, a switch inside the unit hadn't been turned on and therefore the heater would not work. Last week I noticed the condensation line was disconnected from the unit. Luis came out and found that the correction was broken and had to be replaced. He thought it might have been pulled and the connection strained causing the failure. The only one to touch the unit was their prior tech. The bottom line, he charged me almost $300.00 to fix it. Then I found out he was the owner and could have and should have done it for free as it obviously was an installment problem. It shouldn't matter that it was before he bought the company, customer loyalty is worth more than $300.00. The bottom line, new ownership is not customer friendly or value loyalty. I will not use them again!!"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Jean, NV

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
