Carini's prices were in line with other providers, but Kurt, who gave the estimate, seems the most knowledgable.  He did appropriate follow up after the install.  Would use them again. "

Juan, the installer was on time, courteous, self-effacing, humorous, knowledgable and highly skilled. He replaced the ugly functioning plumbing (piping) with a more contoured professional appearance. After the system instalation, function test, old water softener packed and area cleaned. I was given an outline of positives results to look for.  And, as of 2 weeks after installation, I am very pleased with results. Faucet run faster, wife says hair and skin feels better. Good professional results from beginning to end.

"Using MasterServ is a perfect example of the pros and cons of using a big company. They were able to offer a lower price (by several hundred dollars) than other estimates I received because they specialize in volume (and not necessarily quality). The estimator who came was extremely pleasant and professional, however, internal communication in this company is a disaster. Therefore, small details like getting a new shower valve installed and installign new shower heads were initially overlooked by the installers because this wasn't communicated between the estimator and the crew. I never met the so-called project manager, who should have been there the first day to make sure everyone was on the same page about what was to be done. It was explained to me by the estimator that it would be a two-day job (true). The first day, the crew showed up and spent about two hours cutting holes in the walls and prepping the house. The second day they were there from 7 AM until 830 at night, working like crazy to get it done that day -- very stressful. When I saw that they hadn't installed the new shower valve, I got some grief from the crew and the so-called project manager over the phone, and this was eventually rectified with me paying an extra $200 to have the crew come back for an hour or so to install. When the job was complete they had disconnected and capped some old galvanized pipes, but with the new water pressure they blew out a couple weeks later (because they make their money by moving fast, quality and client communication suffer!). The guy they sent to do the drywall patching was a total incompetent. He showed up a couple days after the plumbing work was done started work and left mid-day saying he'd be back the next day to finish, though he never did return. I called the so-called project manager who was surprised to hear that the job wasn't done and it took a few more days for them to schedule a new guy to come out who had to re-do everything because the first guy was incompetent. In the final analysis, this company was the cheapest alternative, but there were a lot of headaches -- stay on top of them and make sure they do the work correctly!"

"I had to call for appointment one week after no contact regarding the form I filled out online for what kind of service I wanted and what times were acceptable. They had to reschedule even after setting the date on the 12th. Continually tried to upsell me to replacement rather than repairs. After interacting with him, I'm not sure labor is included on replacement or even repairs. I bought the 3 year package but had to request a refund."

"Chris Northup called before he came, was professional and friendly, did excellent work, and I was very happy that he replaced my filters at the vent sites. He showed me photos of some work on the furnaces that may need to be done, which I will discuss with my husband. I specifically asked for his card so I can put this company (and him) in my own service directory in the event we need furnace or AC repairs in the future. Also he was very knowledgeable and took great care with his ladder not to bump the walls, which I appreciated. He also put a drop cloth down in the laundry room so as not to cause a mess when he entered the attic. An excellent job by a very trustworthy young man, was my sense of his character. You would not hesitate to allow him access into your home."

"Michael Dove offered replacement for two fans or chandeliers for $69.00. I informed him that my ceilings were 15' high. He gave me an amended bill prior to installation as the height required an additional charge. I was very agreeable to the amount. He arrived on time. Michael assessed the jobs and completed it in a timely manner. Throughout he was courteous and professional. He removed all materials. I was impressed with his willingness to complete the job in the bedroom where he placed all the crystals on the chandelier. I hadn't expected the extra service. 
I am completely satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to recommend him.

The cleaners removed the window screen but while cleaning them, they destroyed my windows screen.

I have very high windows and the cleaners left behind water marks all over, did not look very good.

In the interim, he negotiated with my insurance company to have a temporary installation of the new water heater. After the water damage was repaired, the technician installed the new water heater on a weekend.
