"Rory’s Repairs was responsive and professional. We needed old faucet valves replaced in two bathtubs with pipes that date back to the origins of the house in the 1930’s. He was communicating in a timely manner about what needed to be done, the time it would take and when costs were changing. He solved the problem and we are happy with his service"

"Great work! LJ contacted me immediately and job was scheduled for three days later per my request. His son Kyle did the work. Arrived on time and was very professional. Turns out the leak under dishwasher was coming from pipes under kitchen skin. Kyle replaced the pipes and a new faucet/sprayer. All reasonably priced--compared to other big plumbing companies. He cleaned under the dishwasher and removed a stain on kitchen sink. I highly recommend. Will be using them again for sure in the future and have already recommended to friends. Great, great company to do business with! Thank you again!"

"Fitzpatrick plumbing did an amazing job. The owner of the company responded to me quickly. I literally contacted him on Tuesday evening when my kitchen sink would not drain and he came out to my house at 9:00 the next morning. He replaced all of my outgoing kitchen plumbing, braced it, and pitched it correctly. In all the years I have owned my house, my kitchen drain has never worked well. After Fitzpatrick plumbing fixed it, it is amazing how it drains. He did exceptional work and the price was very reasonable."

"Both time were great. The sink repair was done for less than 1/2 what another company had quoted. The faucet problem was corrected without out my having to replace it (which is what I was prepared to do). Their technicians were efficient and professional."

"I’ve had Kyle do several repair jobs around my house. Ranging from installing a water softener to replacing fixtures. Always on time, always treats my property with respect, an overall great value."

"The repair took an extra day, but it wasn't really their fault. I violated a cardinal rule in marriage and didn't check with my wife ahead of time on what type of fixture to replace the old. That error delayed the repair until the next day. They were able to repair the existing fixture the next day since a more experienced plumber did the work, and it saved me about $150. So I got lucky. That is why I gave them a 4 for work quality, but I would have been satisfied either way."

"Light fixture was repaired and works great. Estimate for moving outlets was given along with information on how work would be performed. Brent was very thorough in assessing the situation and very pleasant to interact with."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Kansas City, KS

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
