problems with the drain line getting blocked. The original installer
was unable (or unwilling?) to address the problem and wanted to charge
me a $75 service fee every time they came out. I called Air 4 U when I

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"We have an older home with an old a/c unit so the job was not an easy one. We had problems from the beginning. They were scheduled to install a new unit on 05/01/15. At 3 PM I called to see if they were coming as I thought it was too late to do it. The office said they were coming and said it would be installed by sunset. They came and had a monumental task of getting the old air handler out of the attic and the new one in. By the time they got the air handler in place they were exhausted by the heat, so they were to return on Saturday. Nobody came. This guy never came back. I called whom I thought was the supervisor and he came on Sunday to assess the problem. Then he came back on Monday with a helper to finish the installation. Unfortunately, one of them stepped through the ceiling panel. I walked in to find broken panel, insulation, dust and crap all over my carpet and a big hole in the ceiling. We cleaned that up and they came back on Wednesday to replace the ceiling panel. The a/c seemed to be working fine and blowing cool air so I made the final payment.
On May 12 we turned it on for the night. Fortunately I woke up in the middle of the night and found water was leaking through the newly installed panel. Now my living room carpet is wet. The panel is warped, soaked and ruined. I had to find buckets to catch water and towels to prevent more damage. Sean came the next day to find out why it wa leaking. He removed the wet panel and wet insulation and now we have a 4x8 hole in the ceiling again. He said the air handler wasn't level. So they were in the attic supposedly correcting the problem. They used a lot of tape probably to repair holes they made in the ducts. Sean said we were good to go and no more leaks. He lied. When It was on for a bit, it started leaking again. More water on my carpet. Sean said he would come on Thursday to install a new drain line. He called Thursday and said he would come on Saturday instead. Then he had another excuse and said he would come on Sunday. Then he stopped answering his phone. We thought we were screwed. I called the office on Monday to find out Sean was no longer working for them. Strangely they didn't seem to know about all the problems we were having. I wondered how they didn't know how many hours Sean spent at our house.
On May 21 they sent Chino, who was awesome. He is a true professional. He is efficient, a hard worker and he knows what he is doing. He said the air handler was sitting on a board and is supposed to be hung. The float switch was not installed properly. There was supposed to be a UVC light which was missing. Chino and Bruce hung the air handler in the proper position and checked the float switch. It leaked a third time so they said they would install a condensate pump. Chino came on May 22 and installed the pump, the missing UV light and glued the pipe that was leaking that Sean didn't fix. Chino couldn't finish the electric part, so I called the office and Gloria said they would come on Tuesday morning . No show on Tuesday, so I called to find out they would come on Wednesday.
On May 27 Chino came with his helper Israel and they worked hard to finally get everything corrected and running properly.
Chino and Israel were awesome. They paid attention to detail and really wanted to make things right.
The office called to tell us the ceiling panel had to be special ordered, but that didn't make sense, so somehow they found out where Sean found one. The next day Bruce and Lou came and replaced it. After having a 4x8 hole in my ceiling of 16 days they finally finished the job.
Then the office called and wanted the final payment which I had charged on May 6. They couldn't find it and wanted me to send a copy of my statement. I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to do that. Gloria finally called and said she found it. Then I wanted my warranty. When they sent it the names were misspelled and the phone number was wrong. Finally got that corrected. I don't know what else can go wrong. The whole thing has been a nightmare.
The county inspector was scheduled to come on September 16 and he never came. The office rescheduled it for October 6
The system worked fine for 120 days and then stopped working. Sean is back and he came on Sept 26 to fix it and he found the defroster control board needed to be replaced. He had to order the part and came to install it on Sept 28. Later that evening it was no longer working. The fan didn't come on. He came the next day and said he had wired it wrong. So now it was working again. No it is not! Now the thermostat is not working right. It is set at 79 and the thermostat thinks it is 83 so the unit won't cut off and my electric meter is running too much. Sean is back for the fourth time and adjusted the fan speed or something and it is running again.
That afternoon the office called to say they need to come back on Oct 7 to fix the tie downs and the transformer as they are not up to code. WHAT! Sean didn't mention that when he was here. The county inspector was supposed to come on Oct 6, so they cancelled that and never rescheduled it. I called to find out the new date and was told the permit expired as they waited too long. They have to get a new permit. I am worried that something must be wrong and they don't want it inspected. The inspection is still not scheduled as of Nov 3. We afraid that this is not the end of this sad story.
