"West Coast Cold Air, Inc., is a great company. The owner Fernando, is highly reliable and a man of his word. After an exhaustive search to replace a dishonest and failing A/C Contractor who lied to us about his LIC and qualifications, we found West Coast Cold Air on the City of St. Petersburg, FL License Contractor List. After the fact we discovered West Coast Cold Air is registered with Angie List. I called Fernando and he promptly came out to the house we are renovating to assess our HVAC project requirements for an older two-story home that never had A/C. After interviewing nine other A/C contractors with no success due to their insurance coverage or internal business policy preventing them from touching equipment or completing another A/C contractors work. West Coast Cold Air did not hesitate to take on the job and assumed full ownership of the recently installed but abandoned equipment and uncompleted second floor project requirements. Fernando informed us to go to the City Permit Office to change the Contractor name on the recorded HVAC permit to his company's name and guided us through the arduous city of St. Petersburg permit process. The install was completed in four days to include: completing the missing Manual J Air inspection to complete the permit; finishing the install of the downstairs Mitsubishi ductless mini-split systems/outside condenser; sourcing and installing a new Central Air system for the upstairs: installing missing air return ducts for four rooms, and passing the Final HVAC Inspection. In addition, Fernando provided an outstanding insulation contractor recommendation for the attic. We are so happy and pleased with West Coast Cold Air and cannot say enough good things about Fernando's reasonable prices, integrity, and quality of workmanship. He is a real professional who earned our respect, I will always highly recommend him first--he is a rare professional you can count on!"

"This was my first time using this company after using another company for many years. This company is absolutely awesome!
The were punctual, calling before they arrived, went right to work evaluating the system. They did things to the AC/Heat system I hadn't seen done for awhile. 
When they were done, they thoroughly explained everything they saw both in the attic and in the portion of the unit in the back yard. We decided to replace a capacitor that day and to get an estimate on duct work repair/replacement.
They cleaned up after themselves. 
The technician was extremely courteous and knowledgable.

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"The service went great. Darren showed up right on time and went straight to work. He explained the entire process to me and let me watch along side him. Unfortunately the dryer vent was very clogged. The last part of the service includes going on the roof and cleaning out the vent cap. This includes a video with audio illustrating the vent being completely freed of debris. The dryer is now in great working order again. Would definitely recommend Fresh Air Services."

"After experiencing my first Florida Summer I thought it was a good idea to have my AC system inspected and tuned up to make sure everything was operating at peak efficiency. I purchased the Tune Up special through Angie's List for $35.95 and was contacted promptly by AAA to schedule service. On the day of service, the office called to let me know the Tech was on his way. When Rudy the technician arrived, he proceeded to show me the details of how the system works. He invited me to watch him service the unit outside and explained each measurement he was taking as well as how to be on the watch for some tricks that other less than honest technicians may use to misrepresent and drive an unnecessary sale. Rudy explained that unlike the majority of HVAC companies in the area, AAA technicians operated on a salary basis and were not commissioned based on the sale of additional services to customers. This structure allows AAA to provide its customers with honest and reliable service! Rudy took great time and care to service, clean and explain all the components of my HVAC system during the service call.
Based on his observations, he recommended the installation of a UV Light to eliminate the growth of bacteria within my system. With 5 month old at home, making sure the air quality was optimal was important to me and Rudy provided a great solution to my concerns. The best part was that Rudy did not pressure me at all to make a decision or buy anything additional beyond the pre-paid Tune Up purchased through Angie's List. He provided me a quoted price for the recommended services and simply said to think about it, be sure I researched the recommended services and if I wanted to proceed to call back and schedule - no pressure whatsoever!
I took Rudy's advice and did my research and found 1)the recommended service was the solution to some of the issues I was having and that 2) the price he quoted was lower than competitive quotes I received (Rudy had also mentioned that AAA kept overhead low and relied primarily on word of mouth advertising allowing them to provide some of the lowest prices in the industry!).
I called the office (who was again extremely helpful - you speak directly with either Rachel or Michelle - which is nice - no menus or prompts to navigate) and scheduled service to have a 3 Step Cleaning of the system in addition to the installation of the UV Light. Rudy arrived the next day promptly and once again was thorough in his explanation of each step in his service call. He completed the work, quickly and at the exact quoted cost - no surprises here!
A few days later, my system  is running great and I can already tell the difference in air quality in my home!
I would recommend AAA to anyone who asks and I know that there are a large number of service providers in the HVAC market, but the level of service I received from AAA and specifically from Rudy (who was amazing and will be the only technician that I ask to come out to service my unit in the future) as outstanding.

"I actually had two different services- one was the $29 service call deal, to see why my dryer wasn't working properly. He said that the vent probably needed to be cleaned, because it was heating up, but not drying. He said if it's not that, then the dryer might need to be replaced, since it would be an expensive repair (and my dryer is 10 years old). So I bought the $69 vent cleaning deal, and they came out the next day. Both men were very professional and polite, and the man who cleaned the vent. also made sure to clean up the dust on the floor. My dryer is now working perfectly, and I couldn't be happier! I would definitely use them in the future.
