"Rob came out to review our existing system and helped us figure out what kind and brand of heat pump would work best with our system. He was very patient and informative, and answered all our questions without any pressure or up-sells (we had quotes from five providers). We signed the contract and payed our deposit in June 2021, but unfortunately global supply chain issues delayed the parts being received. Day & Nite were communicative of the issue and offered several alternatives, including a refund of the deposit. We opted to wait for the parts. It took four months, but the techs (lead by Jeff B) were fantastic and very accommodating in how we wanted piping and wiring routed. We are very pleased with how it's turned out and loved working with a local (and family owned!) company! Our gas water heater is due for replacement soon, and we'll be coming back to Day & Nite for that!"

Once we established contact, a planner came out and gave us detailed information on the system we wanted. They installed the furnace on time and very professionally. "Everything went well and smooth with their help. I got the proposal with all details at the same day when they came to do the estimate. Our old furnace was built on 1971, and it was in a closet next to the water heater tank. When one other company came to estimate, they wanted to cut a furnace size hole on the wall facing the hallway to fit the machine and we have to find a constructor or handy man to finish, like to build a door or make it look good, but G&S figured out an easy way, which is to turn the machine toward another direction and eventually only cut a vent on the wall. It took two days for all the installation, and they cleaned up when they left and everything looked clean and nice. They also listened to customers. We didn't want the heat pump to be right next to the stairs of our deck, so they chose a spot which was few feet away from the closest spot without any question. We appreciate for that, since the wind blows out from heat pump is kind of strong, and we feel comfortable with where it is at now. One thing I really like is they were on time, and they called around 30 minutes ahead before them showed up. They also take care all the paperwork for the PUD rebate, Costco 10% shop card, and city permits, and all we do is waiting their call to arrange the time."

"They came to assess my furnace, and found it required replacing. I was in the middle of a re-fi on my house so I couldn't finance the furnace at that time. So they got my furnace to work, without any payment from me, as long as I agreed to purchase the furnace from them when the re-fi closed. I did contact them afterward, they installed said new furnace right away with over the top professionalism!! I then contacted them again about 6 months later when my water heater needed replacing as well. Blue Flame is a very refreshing company in this day & age........HIGHLY SATISFIED & RECOMMENDED!!"

"Seatown did mostly a good job I suppose installing a new gas burning high efficiency furnace. When the salesperson was providing their initial consultation, they pointed out that our existing thermostat would have to be replaced and the 3-wire thermostat wire would need to be upgraded to 8-wire for the high efficiency furnace. They were going to charge me some exorbitant fee to pull the new wire through 5 feet of wall. When I questioned it, they knocked it down to $500. I told them I'd buy new wire and pull it through myself before they showed up. Needless to say I was pleased to find out that the technician only used 3 of the wires anyway so that attempted overcharge would have been for nothing? Also the technician very cleverly did NOT place the new thermostat on the wall such that it covered up the old hole in the wall so I had to move it after they left. I can't say I was too happy with the furnace exhaust pipe. First, they placed the exhaust pipe above our gas meter but the inspector didn't flag it so I guess there's no issue. Also they used non-paintable caulk to seal the exhaust pipe so that painting it to blend in with the siding was a bit of a problem. They also didn't provide any sort of screen for the exhaust pipe to keep animals from crawling in it. When I questioned that they said that the carbon monoxide would kill them. So their solution is to have a dead animal in our furnace exhaust? Not to mention that doesn't really work in the summer when the furnace isn't running. Other than those rookie mistakes I noticed, I'm sure everything else was done properly?"

"They scheduled the service for the next day, since they would be in my area. Simon was very good. He texted me to let me know his expected arrival time, which was exactly as agreed. He explained a possible add-on - cleaning dust from inside the furnace - but didn't pressure me to do it (but I decided it was a good idea). He was very thorough in checking all the vents inside the house. All in all, a pleasant experience, and I'm sure I will use their services again."

We are repeat customers and have worked with Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning for regular annual furnace inspections and a duct cleaning. We have been pleased every time and this time was no different.

I met with Rob on Monday (3/9). He was responsive and gave helpful information about the options available for air conditioner units and the process for getting one installed. He got us an installation appointment for the very next day.

The installers arrived at the promised time the next day and worked diligently for about 6.5 hours, into the early evening. They were positive, friendly, and patient about answering our questions. Their workmanship was high quality and they explained what would happen on day two of the installation. Before leaving they thoroughly cleaned the garage where they were working.

The second day of installation was today (3/13). An electrician (Linder Electric) and an Overlake service technician came out to finish the installation. We weren't here when they performed the work, but again the end results all looked clean, nice, and organized.

The Overlake scheduler and office staff are excellent about communicating updates. We appreciate the responsiveness, reliability, expertise, and professionalism of all of the Overlake staff and definitely recommend them.
