"I found out my water heater was leaking the night before. I noticed water coming from my laundry room had made a puddle of water into the adjacent office space. I decided to wait till next morning because I knew emergency calls can be very expensive. Next morning I started calling around for someone to come out and look at it but was finding it very difficult to find someone to come out same day. I called 3 or 4 different places and they were all not available or Did not call me back. The only company that responded to me within the hour was JM Plumbing. They were also the only company that were willing to come out same day and gave me an awesome price that beat all competitors by far. The owner agreed to come out to do the work at end of day after his last job, he arrived on time with an assistant. Was very professional, friendly, fast and did an excellent job. Total time installing was about about an hour to hour and a half. He went to buy a new water heater and new hose to replace my old one, gave me all receipts and warranty paperwork . I am very satisfied with the work he did, the heater is working beautifully and I am very pleased with the job done by JM Plumbing. "Scott was very good about explaining the pros and cons about different options we had for replacing our in-wall heating units. We had originally considered installing a propane infrastructure to also supply a gas stove, but after considering the cost, complexity, and relative high cost of operating a propane furnace, opted for a heat pump instead. Notably, of the three vendors we contact, Scott was the only one who made sure we knew about some incentive programs being offered by the local utility, which caused him a little more paperwork but saved us $1200. When performing the site survey, Scott listened to our remodel plans and took advantage of them to minimize the impact of ducting installation. We were frankly surprised at how little drywall needed to be cut to install ducts throughout the house (and were helped by the fact we were replacing flooring upstairs, so they were able to cut in through the exposed subfloor from above rather than through the ceiling below). The installation was professional and thorough, with well-sealed ducts and neatly routed ductwork, coolant piping, condensate drainage, etc. The system has been trouble-free so far, and is both quiet and effective. We are extremely happy to have taken the opportunity to switch to forced-air heating."
