"Of the eight companies who bid, Greenwood did the best assessment of the somewhat quirky situation my old house presented. The estimator came just a few days before the big freeze in January, and they were able to schedule installation within two days. Once the installers were on site, there was some confusion re where various components would go, but a phone call to the company cleared that up within an hour. From then on the heat pump installation went smoothly and professionally, the electricians did a quick and effective job of hooking it up to the service, and the site was left clean. I did not understand at first how to operate the thermostat, given that the Mitsubishi owners manual was of limited help, and per my request a rep from the company came out a few days later to give me a tutorial about what the range of settings can do. From then on the system has operated flawlessly and lives up to its reputation."

"Rob came out to review our existing system and helped us figure out what kind and brand of heat pump would work best with our system. He was very patient and informative, and answered all our questions without any pressure or up-sells (we had quotes from five providers). We signed the contract and payed our deposit in June 2021, but unfortunately global supply chain issues delayed the parts being received. Day & Nite were communicative of the issue and offered several alternatives, including a refund of the deposit. We opted to wait for the parts. It took four months, but the techs (lead by Jeff B) were fantastic and very accommodating in how we wanted piping and wiring routed. We are very pleased with how it's turned out and loved working with a local (and family owned!) company! Our gas water heater is due for replacement soon, and we'll be coming back to Day & Nite for that!"

"The installation did not go well at all. The installers were here all day and they tracked mud through our garage. They also did a sloppy job of installing the lines on the wall in the laundry room. The system didn't work so they called a technician to come check. The tech, Tobias, complained that we woke him up. He was very grumpy and we could hear him having angry conversations on his cell phone. He determined that the installers installed the air system upside down! The system worked backwards - heat came out through the intake vents and drew air from the heat vents! He complained to us that this had happened before. The installers returned a day or two later and were here all day fixing their mistakes. They joked with us that we should get an awesome service contract. Then the system required fine tuning and another tech (Chris, a very nice guy) was here multiple times tinkering with the system. When we called our sales rep, we were told he doesn't work there anymore. We requested to talk with the business owner, and were promised a phone call, which never came. On top of all that, the heat pump is SO LOUD and I wish our rep had explained to us how noisy it would be. At the end of the day, I sometimes wish I would have spent the additional few thousand dollars and hired Greenwood Heating and Air. Blue Flame had the best quote and the friendliest sales rep. But the installation was a sh!tshow and I cringe every time that heat pump turns on which I can hear from inside my house."

"Eric service technician called me to provide time he was coming out and showed up promptly. He was very good at explaining all the checks on the service and found out capacitor for blower on fan was out. Had part on hand and fixed it. Otherwise would have been bad if blower would have failed. Have used this company for 17 years. Very fair and honest."

"Lead plumber Mitchell, did great service with even better follow up. As with a lot of services, it comes down to the actual person with which you interact. Mitchell handled a drywall repair issue related to the installation by taking personal responsibility and action to cover the cost himself. Seatown plumbing manager initially said they were not covering the repair, but after speaking with Mitchell this morning confirmed that Seatown will reimburse him for the cost of repair. Mitchell exhibited a high level of competency in his work, and an equally high level of character."

"Excellent Electrical work from Tyler. I've used this company in the past and was pleased the first time so I decided to contact them again. He ran into problems with the service panel upgrade but he ended up figuring it out and completed the work in a timely manner. He honored the original quote so I didn't have to pay extra for the additional labor and materials required for the panel upgrade. Tyler is reliable, on time, and very professional. Will come back to this company for any future home services."

"This house was built in 1912 and I'm not sure how old the 2 different layers of insulation were in the attic but they did not cover the 2x4 joists and to make matters worse the last owners had cats roaming free to do as the pleased in the stuff.  I new it had to go so I called Daniel at SOS Crawl Space Insulation.  I got the feeling that they were a newer company and wanted to give them a chance.  The business relationship started a little rocky.  Daniel was about 15 minutes late for the estimate appointment but I let it pass.  Then he emailed the estimate in a format that I could not open.  We jumped through that hurdle and when I saw the estimate it seemed fair to me.  The removal was a bit high I thought but with everything that was in the attic other than insulation and the pungent smell of cat urine and feces, I was not going to do it myself.  The price to install new insulation seemed very fair since I could not buy the insulation at a box store for their price of material and install. 
     On day one they came with a truck and a very large vacuum.  Removing insulation especially in this this situation is just disgusting and I was very glad that they were willing to do this.  Daniel and his partner went right to work and did a great job.  They cleaned up as they went and showed me a wide variety of non insulation materials that came through the vacuum hose.  They were also nice enough to take the insulation from the basement that I had removed earlier.
     On day two the did what they do best, install the insulation.  Again they showed up and went right to work starting in the basement installing and then securing the insulation and then moving to the attic.  They were clean quick and professional.
     Once we got past a few hurdles, SOS Insulation was prompt, professional, clean got the job done quickly and it looks great.  I would definitely recommend this company and will call on them when I need their services.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
