"We had our whole house water softener installed by this company on 10/23, and it came with a 1-year free platinum care program, which included coming out and adding salt to the system quarterly and also making sure the system is running like it's supposed to. After the year, we didn't renew the platinum care program, and when the worker came out in July 2024 to add salt to our system, he purposely placed our system in bypass. We are from up north and never had to use a water softener, so we didn't realize that the system wasn't working properly for almost 10 months. When we finally got around to having another company come out and check the system over (8/29), they immediately saw that the system had been placed in bypass. Now, understand, this isn't the case where someone could have accidentally hit a switch and put the system in bypass. No, you have to turn this blue knob like 15 times to shut off the water flow into the water softener. The guy from the other company said that "this"
