"I had an exceptionally positive experience with this company. I urgently needed to replace a leaking gas water heater, and they promptly scheduled the job on the same day, even on a Sunday. Their plumber, Austin, demonstrated a high level of professionalism and thoroughness in addressing all issues related to the water heater replacement. The final bill was quite competitive, aligning well with the industry average among reputable companies."

"Our first contact with Northwest Energy Systems was with a service person who came to repair our existing furnace. After examining the 30 year old furnace, the service person told us we need a replacement part that would cost approximately $300. He then went on to tell us that the current rebates on energy efficient furnaces, plus rebates from the gas company, would make purchase of a new high efficiency furnace a good option to consider. After thinking the situation through, we decided to purchase a new 96% efficient gas furnace. One call to the office, and we were scheduled for an installation. On October 24, Scott came to put in our new furnace. He was here about 6 hours. He removed the existing funace, installed the new gas furnace, and cleaned up all evidence of his work. We were highly pleased with the courteous treatment we received and with the service of all the personnel who visited our home. The provided exactly what we wanted, with no delay and very little disruption in our home while they did it."

"Both Ben and Jake came out to install toilet, I was told they had to drill holes to anchor the toilet and that it would do no harm to the radiant heat I have in the floors. All went really well. two days later Jake came out and installed my garbage disposal and faucet after I had new countertops installed. I'm very pleased with the jobs performed. Will use them again when needed, and will recommend them for anyone looking for experienced professional and detail oriented plumbers. <br />"

"I recently bought a gas range to replace my old electric stove in the kitchen.  I already have other gas appliances, but needed a gas line run into the kitchen through the crawl space under the house.  <br /> I called to about 8 plumbing and HVAC companies in the area and Foss was by far the least expensive.  They weren't able to come out for about a week after I called, but for several hundred dollars in savings I was OK with that.  The tech was prompt, finished the job in about an hour and a half, and even used his own connectors for the range so I could return the ones I bought.  The line was finished nicely behind the stove and wasn't just a loose connector like I was expecting.  I was not billed extra for the range hookup and was charged exactly what I was quoted.  He even took my old hot water heater at no charge, saving me a trip to the recycling center. <br />"

"Not one glich from initial job consultation through commissioning of new water heater and discovery of needed corrections to the furnace and the installation of a fireplace. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in both his assessments of your needs and providing options for you to choose from. I'll never have anyone else service/replace my furnace, do any gas piping installation or install any new gas appliance other than Mark Tschatter, of Tremko HVAC. The installation of the large and quot;on demandand quot; water heater was flawless. Fired right up immediately after Mark made a final check of his installation. He uses high quality parts, which helps ensure that your installation will last. I personally believe in installing high quality equipment and parts and I didnt have to convince Mark that it was money saved by doing so. Often times folks only look at the intital cost of a particular product, and they go with the and quot;cheaperand quot; or more economical product/system. I look at the cost over time and peace of mind overall. I have complete confidence in Mark to advise me when I can cut a corner and when it doesnt make sense too. He explains and describes the issues/problems and solutions until you are happy and understand what your decision, on whatever he's doing means. I had him recommend a fireplace for a rental of mine and he actually advised me to buy the smaller unit; which in turn would make him less money. That one instance alone told me that Mark is not simply interested in making a buck. he provides a quality service and his goal is to build a trusting and long lasting relationship with his customers. I have since recommended him to several friends, relatives and co-workers and I will continue to do so. Each one of them was incredibly grateful for the contact I provided by recommending Tremkoe, and Mark to take care of their needs. Another bonus of getting to Mark has been getting his recommendations for other craftsmen that share his quality work ethic and integrity; from general construction and remodeling to regular plumbing, tile and electrical services. I've used every person Mark has recommended and couldnt be happier with the quality of workmanship I receive from all of them. I could go on and on about Tremkoe, but I think what I've written sums it up and its quite obvious I'm a fan of Tremkoe and wont hire anyone else. <br />"

"Bryan called and was able to come early! Bonus! It wasn't a big job, the gas fireplace kept going out (and then coming back on) and needed a good cleaning. Bryan was quick, clean and the glass is so clean I can see the flames again. Double bonus. Answered all my questions. Will use again."

FAQs for gas piping projects in La Conner, WA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
