"5+ STAR SERVICE!!! Our A/C went out at 10pm and I made one phone call to Service Star they diagnosed the issue over the phone and told me what I needed to do in order to have our unit run efficiently overnight. Our coil was leaking and unit was frozen. Since our unit was 10 years old we opted to replace the entire unit including exterior and interior with new WiFi digital thermostat. They walked us through the most energy efficient option for our home. They came out early today and installed the new unit! Talk about SERVICE! WOW! The unit was installed in under 4 hours and my house began cooling instantly. WHAT a difference this unit makes and we are super impressed with how quite it is. We are THRILLED! THANK YOU SERVICE STAR!"

"It ended up we needed a new thermostat. The tech could have very easily convinced us that the blower motor had failed and required more major service as he first suspected. This was the 2nd service call on this unit in 3 months with same symptoms. I'm certain the thermostat was the problem during that first service as well since the tenant stated the main cover of the thermostat had fallen off the day before and the service tech "tweaked" the connectors on the thermostat AFTER doing his $350 service job on the main unit. "Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"They're a big, big company with a fleet of trucks.  They're huge.  Service America is one of the two largest home warranty companies in the United States.  They provide home warranties for an annual fee, and then they also provide heating and ventilation, air conditioning check-ups, and they also will come out and repair major appliances, ceiling fans, or electrical or plumbing, or anything like that.  They did a good job.  They do good work when they come out, but they do have a tendency to be chronically late for their appointments and even to just blow off their appointments and not show up at all and not call.  When they show up, they do a good job.  Keep in mind, when I give them anything less than an A, that's not a reference to that appointment in early March; that would be A, A, A, A, A across the board.  They were on time; no problem at all at that last appointment.  "
