"They initially thought we needed the foundations and poles replaced on one or more support poles for our main border beam. This was based on measurements before the carpet was taken out. We scheduled the work, and had the carpet removed. Once removed, it was apparent to the crew that showed up that the work didn’t need to be done. They quickly reassessed and were honest with me about the reassessment. Their crew was already on site and they could have easily just done the work and billed us. They had a structural engineer contact us to follow up and do a formal reassessment of what work needs to be done. Their crew chief attended the engineer’s assessment to make sure they understood. Their estimators and crew were friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I paid their crew (already on site) to tear apart some wall to make sure we completed the inspection, but no additional work needed to be done. Their work ethic and commitment to getting this right has them on the top of my list for any future work I need done in their area of expertise."

Mark and his crew patiently drilled many holes and pumped and pumped and pumped until all of the holes were filled, then filled the holes that were drilled in the foundation.  If someone wasn't looking really, really hard, they never know this procedure had been performed as they filled the drill holes expertly and cleaned up everything to restore it all to it's original state. We're grateful that we didn't find out too late that these large voids existed, as we had no idea and even Mark, the owner, had no idea that the situation could have been as bad as it was.  Our home was built in the mid-70's, before footings were required as they are today.  Thanks to Mark and A-1 Concrete Levelling, we now have peace of mind that at least for now and many years to come, we don't have to worry about a serious garage foundation problem.  Too bad for all those critters who are now looking for new homes!"
